This is the best explanation i have seen for subharminics. It is clear and concise.

I love how all these "how to sing low" or "how to sing subarmonic" videos seem promising when you see the thumbnail.....but then a dude with the DEEPEST talking voice you've ever heard starts introducing the video.

"Let's not start super deep"

Does a note deep enough I can hardly ever hit 😢

These are also really helpful for non singing people like me that do voice work. His explanations always help me better understand how to achieve vocal effects even for speaking roles.

Bro that's the best subharmonic tutorial in the world.

Came for the subharmonics lesson, stayed for the voice and the magnificent beard.

More seriously, the explainations are really good.
Thanks a lot !

As a fellow bass singer, I love subs. Just working on fundamentals and trying to teach some friends. Thanks Brev.

His normal speaking voice is around B1, I have never heard something like that before, crazy.

No I am gutted this awesome video comes out and I have lost my voice due to having a cold so I can't practice. Definitely saving this for when I am better 😊

I can do vocal fry but cannot do this 😭

2nd comment; you bass guys really need to set something up with Elizabeth (The Charismatic Voice) and have her team shove a camera down there to take a look at what's going on! Her work on metal 'screaching' without hurting yourself has been pretty epic. You, Geoff, Tim, Avi, subterranean Eric in particular, and some others.

I've been practicing subs for around a year. I have access to the second subharmonic register too. But even now going back to the basics and hearing another way on how to do them helps so much; relearning is so important. I'm assuming there's more information from the study you did that's also helped figure out how they work like you said in the beginning. I just love these videos, brev. Keep up the good work.

Learning lower voice for voice acting here. And I really enjoyed repeating after you, man: your tutorial is really helpful. Many thanks for that!

This is gold. Thought about this video all day yesterday and tried it in my car. I was actually surprised of what my voice could do, wtf. Appreciate it a lot! Also coincidentally I showed my dad a random deep voice LOTR Youtube short and you're the actual person at the top, or a perfect clone of him lol. Anyway much love and appreciation from the Netherlands! ❤

This was fantastic. I’ve been able to find a few subharmonics but I had no technical of what I was doing or how. This opened up a new part to f my range and helped the tone so much. Can not thank you enough
