He defeats Captain America, Captain Marvel and Superman. Not too shabby!

"WE ARE SEX BOB-OMB AND WE'RE HERE TO WATCH SCOTT PILGRIM KICK YOUR TEETH IN! ONE TWO THREE FOUR!" is hands down one of my favorite lines from any movie...also, Wallace is the best character in the entire movie...

@aerthreepwood8021 2 years ago

It's funny that you said Brandon Routh reminds you of Homelander, since he played Superman in Superman Returns.

They wanted to keep the movie PG-13 so teens could go see it but Aubrey Plaza couldn't say her lines without cursing so they told her to just go for it and added the censorship as part of the plot.

Fun Fact: Brie played 22 as Envy but when they filmed she was actually 20

The Nega Scott fight is so easy because Nega Scott is actually "a really nice guy" because he's the Opposite of Real Scott who is really a bit of a Bickhead.

Fun fact: the package scene wasn't CGI! The director actually had him throw it into the trash can. If you track down the outtakes, it shows you how many times it took him to get it in there.

I love how Scott solved things with his evil clone by just talking things out

Scott pilgrim has three dominant character traits: narcissism, neuroticism, and surprisingly good hand to hand combat skills. Those three things are basically his entire personality, and his story is basically the journey of him becoming a normal human being. It started as a manga/comic book series which is excellent, but they did a great job adapting it to the screen.

Fun fact: Ellen Wong was 25 when filming that scene. She plays a great 17-year-old!

Mary: "The girl's about to come."
Little did she know.

"someone call the police" don't worry they will come in the next scene

19:42 They did make a real game! It's called (sensibly enough) "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game", it's exactly the retro beat-'em-up that you would imagine, it's quite good, and it's available on all platforms!

When Scott leapt through the window, I fell out of my chair laughing and writhed on the floor gasping for oxygen. And later that day, I was still trying to contain laughter during driver's ed class.

Edgar Wright wrote, directed and edited this movie. He is a genius. Other movies of his to check out are Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End (collectively the "Cornetto Trilogy"), Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho.

My favourite description of this movie is: think of it like a musical, except with video games instead

@BatmanFan76 2 years ago

This is definitely a legitimately fun movie. It has great celebrities, funny moments, and a great concept of fighting 7 evil exes to be with the one you love.

@ChimpTurbo 2 years ago

This movie is one of my comfort movies. Never ever ever gets old.

Ramona's ex-girlfriend, played by Mae Whitman, had previously worked with Michael Cera on the show Arrested Development, where she played his girlfriend temporarily. That show is one of my favorite shows of all time. It's not for everyone, but the writing is very good and cast is stacked, and it's narrated by Ron Howard, and he is also one of the executive producers.

It’s always cool to me when people pick up gaming as a hobby after they’ve already become adults. I’ve been gaming since I was 7 and it’s always validating to see other people convert to my religion- I mean, hobby.
