Wow I didn’t realised that MSG Europe you can’t stand up straight. That would kill me. 😢 that is such an advantage to be able to stand up nice and straight. Good to see that that hand steering is still better than autopilot. 👍 mind you I am sure Boris will add an enclosed cockpit for his wheel position.

Another phenomenal coverage. A first for me over years of offshore sailing!

Großartiger Bericht. 👏 Onboard Cameras werden auch immer besser. Und der neue Tracker 👍. Plus Englisch als Bordsprache. Danke!

keep your eyes on the compos and GPS . Its a long distance and the wrong angle will bring you thousand miles off.

my second trans-at we only took sites every 2 or 3 days if weather was o k - after a few weeks we navigated more but mid ocean makes no difference- never changed course much

I am looking at the equipment which came i long way since I sailed with DR, Logan paper chart etc it almost looks like a different sport it's all decided by computer

This is quite relaxed compared to just how crazy and hectic this race can be. Compare this to the 2023 ocean race leg 5 transatlantic, this is like a luxurious cruise. No breakages either, this problem on MSIG Europe wasn't really a breakage, just a line that wasn't set up properly. It's going to be interesting to see if they manage to catch a ride on some wild cyclone heading east... That could speed up the pace of this race by quite some margin
