Band of Brothers is the best television show ever made. Hands down. And 25 years later I think that there will never be made a better show. Ever.

Dutchman here: I regularly visit Eindhoven, Nuenen, Uden, Veghel, Heteren (the island near Nijmegen), Schoonderlogt, Normandy, and Bastogne—the places where Easy Company made history.
I have watched the series Band of Brothers several times. It makes a deep impression on me every single time.

It is wonderful that the actors remain involved with the series and the legacy of the men of Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division, and veterans in general!
I have deep respect for them and take my hat off to them!

One of the, if not THE, best TV shows of all time - you can't change my mind.

I watch the show a few times each year. I used to be a firefighter, back when we were getting a lot of medical calls for the WW-2 generation. I met a man who stayed on a machine gun at Bastogne, and had a Silver star and a Purple Heart in a shadow box on the wall. I met a man, riddled with scars across whose chest and back, who commanded a tank crew from Italy to Berlin. I met another man who was shot down twice over Iwo Jima, and who also flew in the mission to kill Admiral Yamamoto. I met crewmen from B-24s and B-17s,, a medic who was still haunted by what he had seen, and a poor old guy with Alzheimer’s who was stuck reliving battles from the European theatre. And countless other men who contributed to that titanic struggle we look back on now. Some had kept their rifles or their 1911s. Some had a captured Luger or Walther, or a katana.  All had a tremendous story to tell. All of those men are now dead and gone. I am old enough now to have met veterans from WW-1 to the present, but I miss the men of WW-2 that I used to know the most.

I can't believe it's also 25 years! To this day I still watch the whole series once or twice a year. Never gets old.

I visited Omaha and Utah beaches two weeks ago for the second time in my life. Every human being needs to visit these places at least once in a lifetime.

The greatest war series ever made... I've watched this series at least a dozen times

I have huge respect for the actors as they obviously have huge respect for who they were playing

It never ceases to amaze me just how humble the veterans of WWII are. They are truly the greatest generation and we owe them everything

From a Belgian gratefull for everything these men sacrificied: thank you for all you did and gave up for my country to be free again. I, for one, will remember.🇧🇪🇺🇸

To me the greatest tv series of all time… the cast, the writing, the pacing… absolutely amazing!!!

Band of Brothers......simply, the GREATEST use of film in the history of film - be it tv, movies, whatever - the greatest use.

My grandfather was one of the the thousands that stormed the beaches at Normandy, Omaha Beach. The bravest man I have ever known. He gave me something and I can't describe it but it gave me what I needed when it was my turn to serve. Thank papa for everything!!!

My Band of Brothers DVD set is signed by James Madio, Frank John Hughes and Ross McCall. It is easily my favorite physical media piece in my collection and it was great meeting those guys

I have watched BoB countless times and I did not know Shane Taylor was British, every day is a school day !!
