Ozzy said he didn’t take any of his medication and his pain killers because it affected his vocal cords and he wanted to give the best performance he could to honor his fans one last time. He endured the pain and discomfort to give it his all one last time. But the music and the crowds and his fans energy was enough medicine for him to push through and give us one last heartfelt performance for us. Love you Ozzy thank you for everything RIP
When Zakk picks up Ozzy's voice is struggling in Momma I'm Coming Home, he moves his guitar rig over to the mic so he can sing with Ozzy to back him up. THAT made me shed tears. Then when when Ozzy says 'we are Black Sabbath', damnet, it was the original group for the last time. Ozzy pulled off something that will be one of the great rock and roll feats of all time. He went out with a tidal wave of love. Just amazing. Politicians could learn the ultimate lesson from Ozzy. It is about the PEOPLE!!!!
I’m dying (terminally ill) and I barely can get my shit together to get out of my bed and he kicked ass like no one else could. Rock the EFF on, OzMan. I’ve loved you all my life (Black Sabbath was born the same year as me 🖤)
“We are Black Sabbath.” The way he threw his arms in the air was so damn touching. Thank you Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill so very much for some of the best music ever recorded.
Ive NEVER been heartbroken over any artist, Ever. The passing of Ozzy really tugged deep and hard on my heart stings. Seeing the hurt on so many faces because WE ALL KNEW this was it, and he struggled, and he gave his last 💯. Im 56 and ive never witnessed an artist go out at full swing for the fans. OZZY 4-EVER❤️😪🙏
That kiss to the sky Zakk threw before the Mr Crowley solo got me. Nice Randy Rhoads acknowledgment. RIP Ozzy and Randy (Edited to spell Randy’s name correctly)
Michael, this is such a heartfelt tribute. Absolutely beautiful. Don't think of him as weak at the end: he stopped all his painkillers and had to be strapped into that chair to give that incredible performance. That is the ultimate strength, and the ultimate sign of love. He was and will always be a role model for us all.
The fact Ozzy was going through so many medical issues & being 76 yrs old & still able to do his last concert is absolutely showing how strong he was up until the very end. RIP sweet prince
