Best political lyrics ever written, and to such great music! I give you give you credit for paying attention to these brilliant lyrics and really getting the message. Most reactors get caught up in their onstage shenanigans and miss the meaning. Just as applicable today for sure, especially the final words.

Smashing the guitar never fails to stun the uninitiated.

The important part is... after he says "You know that the hypnotized never lie.." he says "Do ya?"

This album, Who’s Next, is one of the greatest albums ever recorded. Any song on it will blow you away. For another song with cool lyrics, try Behind Blue Eyes.

Excellent reaction! I'm 67 and watched The Who live sometimes. One of the greatest rock bands of history. :washhands:

One of the greatest bands in Rock&Roll history. I was 14 in 64 when I first heard them and got all their albums. They were punk before punk existed.

The Who are the best live band ever, in my opinion. Saw them 3 times. Stunning.

1968. I definitely grew up with their music everywhere.

I was born in 1955,and I saw The Who live for the first time in 1972 in Amsterdam.
That concert still is the best I've ever seen and heard.
Very very loud but brilliant sound. Support act was Golden Earring, a duch rockband.
Love your reaction, you hit the nail on it's head, excellent.
