I also like the nice touch that the sweeter, more empathetic members of the cast are the ones who ultimately support Damon’s more emotional plea like Ingrid, Jean, Eloise, and Desmond. It shows that Damon is not completely alone in his hunch that Diana is too kind to do something so horrible to Wolfgang.

I really love this path system. It makes sense for the ultimate debater to have multiple arguments to choose from

Honestly with how talkative Monokuma was during trials i was surprised with how quiet Tozu was during the trial, it's nice to see him participating in this route by answering Damon's question.

It is said during the Pathos route, the Debater's heart grew three sizes that way.

That's actually a better character moment for Damon than the logic route

The real reason to go for this route is to unlock THIS CUTE NEVER-SEEN-BEFORE DAMON SPRITE 4:51 YEAHHH!!!

help the way desmond immediately folded once eloise agreed to hold the vote

damon has the emotional capacity to comprehend the feelings of others?????

So according to Tozu, the trial ends when he gets bored or everyone has decided to start voting. This trial is approximately four hours long, so Tozu has the attention span of 2718281 TikTok users summed up.

Desmond and Eloise are the goats for this trial, cause if they didn't ask to hear Diana's side, everyone would've been dead

The pathos routes are pretty neat!
They take the idea that was never fully fleshed out from 2 & integrated it with the purjury routes from 3
Very glad they only have pathos WHEN there's a pathos route available, acts as a clue to the player that they could go either way with the debate!

(Agrees with Diana)

Damon's ass: NO THATS WRONG

Grace jumping to conclusions like a god damn rabbit.

Pathos seems like a path of least resistance from a gameplay standpoint. You're basically trading  direct opposition through minigames for emotional character focused cutscenes. If you put diana's explanation here, pathos is 20+ minutes of nonstop cutscene.

I like the whole Pathos thing especially when it introduces more sides to the characters and makes them more trusting

THIS IS SO GOOD OH MY GOD!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT!!!!!!!! I love Damon in this one, Diana really deserved better and to know she got it at least in here makes me very happy... She's legit becoming my favorite character OMG....

The fact you completely skip the Grace rebuttal showdown if you go with pathos is crazy.

i have such a softspot for diamon, doesnt help that their ship trope is exactly my kind of tea. my friend who shipped them way before the prologue is probably feeling on top of the world rn with the amount of shipping content for them

I really like this Logic versus Emotion mechanic. I hope this theme if carries through the rest of the game

I’m genuinely upset we can’t see more Pathos routes after the cancellation of the game.
