One thing about ibisPaint is that the video length determines how it looks in the end. So if you have, like, a 30-second or one-minute-long video, everything will look like you just slapped it on there, even worse if you happen not to make adjustments. But yeah, ibis paints does skip over a LOT of things, especially the undos😮‍💨

here's the thing:
Ibis does, in fact, not save undos SPECIFICALLY.
what it DOES save is flipping the canvas, moving things around, opacity changes in layers, etc. and also eraser strokes. Hell it even shows the CANVAS BEING RESIZED.
It's super obvious this person is using AI.

ibispaint skips the undos but adjusting like moving the drawing or when you erase stuff still shows! im just a bit confused how they managed to hide the image that they are allegedly tracing bcs you cant hide layers in the speedpaint as far as i know..

Funfact: in Ibispaint, you have 3 option on how you want to see your speedpaint. One is the regular speedpaint like in the video, the others are basically like timelaspe which showed everything (window layers and all the tools showed up too).

So yea, "i cant prove it" wasnt an excuse. You can prove it by uploading that option instead.

The fact there are little to no guidelines is a dead giveaway, because you can't be telling me you can draw that perfectly just by a reference or memory. I swear ai bros don't even know how art works

@Impulse001 10 days ago

I just want to point out, a speedpaint not having undoes doesn't mean anything, Krita for example, skips them.

@faeleentoffee 10 days ago

honestly in my opinion from seeing the thumbnail, never hitting the undo button isnt a smoking gun for me because art applications might be like ibispaint x where the speedpaint doesnt record undos

@ABCDEvaFGHI 9 days ago (edited)

3:05 yes, unfortunately when you press the undo button in ibis paint, that stroke doesn't show up in the time lapse. This just makes it easier for people to trace images without it showing up in the speed paint.

@ashleighjones6214 10 days ago

3:11 i can confirm as someone who heavily uses the undo button, it just erases it from the time lapse.

last time an AI using art bro confronted me about using gen AI, i just boldy told him "have some SELF RESPECT" and actually he's since stopped using it haha

3:51 ... The end result was in the middle of the "speedpaint" for like half a second before resuming sketching T^T

How to draw a stick figure:
Step 1: prompt AI to make the final picture
Step 2: prompt AI to delete the details and deconstruct it to a stick figure

At a recent con in Brisbane, an AI vender (ew idk why they're even allowed) bit and attacked someone who called out their AI stall!

@XXdarksidecookie 10 days ago

1:16 that just looks like they are tracing 😭

I really have no idea how this channel came across my feed its not really related to anything I'd watch but man is it satisfying watching artists take down liars. I don't even dislike AI but I dislike lying and taking credit for work not your own. I had a player in one of my D&D games who was obsessed with it and used it for everything but he never tried to claim credit for it. This is a quality channel.

@MuichiroTokito-1111 3 days ago

I don't use ai, and I also don't do speedpaints, its not that I'm using someone's art as a base, because I'm not, its just I REALLY hate people watching me draw, so i never do soeedpaints.

From trying to teach friends to draw I’ve learnt that they really do think we draw like a printer almost. I remember bringing up a pic of Naruto because my friend wanted to learn how to draw him and when I started demonstrating how to start I looked at his paper and he was ignoring everything I was saying and trying to copy the pic without any of the bones of it. Straight started with the hair. So yeah they really think it’s like that

@angelirish23 10 days ago

Hai, hai, guess I should say since Im makin' a drawing on Ibis paint while watching this, but it does cut out a LOT of things in the drawing process when you export the speedpaint, like the undos and a couple parts of the process, but not so much that it looks like you went from A-J in the drawing process :-;

These AI "artists" are just coping HARD when they say AI is just a tool for them to express themselves with their "ideas" 😂 what ideas? Generic shit you saw online? 😭😭

@CorrinnecreatesArchives 9 days ago

One thing as an Ibis Paint user! You can change the way the Speedpaint is presented, so if they truly wanted to prove they were a real artist there is a Speedpaint mode that shows the layers, and the canvas in general while it was being used in live time.
