I would absolutely love to see a video on DDLC in future, keep up the wonderful work Reilly!!!

this video is nice to put on in the background, but it mostly just felt like summaries of the episodes with like 14 minutes of actual looking into fandom and personal opinions at the end! not a bad video but the title made me expect more actual commentary x-D

We love the concept, some of the characters, and the adventures/character focus of the first five episodes.

It's the final 2 episodes that went a direction that would make or break the show for fans.

I don't mind the finale, but I understand why some would hate it. It's a good show, definitely needed some help though. More writers so that Gooseworx wasn't overwhelmed, and more episodes to explore character interactions, relationships, personal growth, history and drama.

I'd love to see the duos mix and match to see how each character interacts with the other. Like how would Zooble and Ragatha get along? What about Gangle and Kinger? Or Pomni and Zooble? Could Jax make fun of Kinger or does it get looped around to him instead due to Kinger being looney?

TADC is currently the potential show. It had a lot to offer, but the creator limited it to 9 episodes. Understandable, but I hope the show inspires future work that can fill in for what fans wanted to see/explore.

If you've watched the show, skip to 1:10:00 for the point of the video.

Amazing video!! I have been a long time silent viewer and I’ve been loving this new channel, it’s exactly what I’ve been wanting to see online. You’ve always been a comfort creator for me, I’m excited for your next one 💛 PS thank you for introducing me to Nommi’s I’m obsessed

this video is mostly a recap of the entire show with only 15 minutes of actual commentary.
It be better if you actually discussed the themes and messages of each episode rather than just giving an almost word for word summary of what happens, to give more insight on what brought people to like or dislike the show. If you still want the recap you could shorten it a lot more to get the main talking points across and leave out a lot of the lesser details that just take up too much time.

living for that makeup and hair combo!! so cute on you

Neat video😙
Like many other fandom, Tadc fans is.... something. I thought the show was alright, and I liked the characters. But yeah, some people takes things way too seriously and toxic as well.

YESSSSSSS!!!!!

Will you ever be returning to making videos on your main channel? Just wondering

your deep dives on this channel are my comfort things to watch while i crochet. i am not really interested in this show but i am interested in how divided the fanbase is and the discussion. my fav thing is to try and understand others perspective.

omg is this entire video just a recap of the show????😭😭😭😭

I had been watching TADC since the very beginning, even put some friends on it. I enjoy it, I enjoy the idea behind it, but the way they go about telling that story just ended up annoying me. I didn't like how they focused so much on Jax and not the other characters, and I think that could have been avoided by dedicating an episode to each person - going into their story and their troubles, and creating more of a bond between characters. Then the last episode could be about Jax, and wrap up her whole character in one go.
It's completely valid to hate her, I do too, but from a creative perspective, I greatly enjoy her character depth. She's a victim turned abuser. I saw a lot of people angry about how Goose made her trans, but, as a trans person, it made everything click into place for me. Jax is mean and angry because she represses everything, she doesn't want to be vulnerable. Boys are taught to not show weakness, and due to Jax's mom constantly belittling her, it messed her up even more. She refused to look deeper into herself in ANY capacity, which creates that anger when someone else tries to do so. She constantly pushed people away because she was terrified of having to face herself.
Jax is a perfect example of HOW a victim becomes an abuser themselves, but I don't like that the show just shrugged it off and didn't allow characters to be angry. Instead, they were immediately shut down despite having every reason to yell at Jax. It was also made to be a joke, so when I saw the scene of Gangle and Zooble talking, and Gangle expressing her fear of her... Dude it threw me off 😭 I went "oh" and started to realize that all the stuff Jax had been doing was SERIOUS. Looking back at everything with that perspective makes it harder to watch, and the teasing Gangle about private matters went from "haha" to being sexual harassment, solidified in the last episode with that gross scene between the two.

I have a lot of thoughts on this show, I just need to do my own video yapping about it 😭

Thank you for this. ive been so curious about this show!

Yay! I'm excited for this one! 🫶

I thought i would clarify that I think zoobile uses they them pronouns correct me if I’m wrong I just thought they did!

i only got 30 minutes into the video before i was to ticked to finish.  TADC is very un-subtle with most of its messging, and i feel like Zooble is one of the victims of that. they literally have a coming out scene (i mean cain literally yells "Zooble! come out!"), their is a trans colored pillar behind them and you even mention their gender disphoria. but for the entire review so far you've only used she/her for zooble. it made it feel like you were just repeating everything at surface level (which obviously most things will be when you're trying to just sumarize every episode.) but i feel like you couldve at least added an extra line acknowledging zooble and their identity in Ep 3.

wake up babe the new reiley barn burner dropped

I feel like it's redundant to explain the entire plot of each episode. Most people have already seen them, or can watch them for themselves. I think it'd be more productive if the plots were looked at in retrospective, or given feedback on them. For a video about people's reaction to the series, it doesn't do much of that. There could've been a deepdive on people's perceptions of the episodes, or theories at the time. I know video essays usually have recaps, but it's not just repeating the whole plotlines.

People actually think that they referenced the great mighty poo as well with the candy monster thing I AM THE GREAT MIGHTY POO AND I'M GOING TO THROW MY SHIT AT YOU.🎶🎶🎶🎶
