Why Theme Hospital Is Better Than Ever In 2026!

Do you remember Theme Hospital? I think it's still one of the best games ever. And although Two Point Studios, who are ex-Bullfrog devs, have made many Two Point games and are great, nothing quite hits that nostalgic feeling that Theme Hospital and Old School Bullfrog still retains. But you might be thinking, it's a little bit dated. There's some problems. There's some weirdness. But don't worry, Theme Hospital is now better than ever. Love it when the community fixes up an old game. Enjoy! You can modernise Dungeon Keeper too, here's how: https://youtu.be/7z6cGQeyjX8 And if you want to watch more gameplay, I have a full Theme Hospital playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYVqUDxY6COiEGVnUjpAqHnGiEY-GINO9 or if you prefer Two Point Hospital, I played through that too: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYVqUDxY6COgLHS9ls9pK8A7H0jEd5au6

I wish all the old Bullfrog games could get this treatment!

I still have mine in its original box with the manuals. My all time favourite game.

Theme Hospital and Dungeon Keeper were my gateways to PC gaming, still love them to this day.

I appreciate how, after all this time, you have finally learned where radiators go.

A neighbor gifted my brothers and I a whole collection of old pc games back in 2005 and this was probably my most played game out of the bunch

I've sunk a crazy amount of hours into this game during the late 90s. This game, Dungeon Keeper and Theme Park haha. Bullfrog had a whole generation obsessed in the 90s!

Theme park, Theme Hospital and SimCity 2000 was some of my best gaming of all times on PS1

Theme hospital holds a special place in my heart. I agree with you when you said that nothing spoke nostalgia more than Theme Hospital.

Bins in the corridor is a new addition.

I remember multiplayer in the original had two unique things. First, you could litter bomb opponent hospital. Second, there was a second type of drinks machine (both types are shown on pictures on back of original game box).

Oh, this game was 1 of my absolute favourites growing up. I will complete the game 1 day; I recently played it. It is still as good as ever. So, that makes it a timeless classic 🙂

I beat this game a couple of years ago using Corsix and it was working very well back then. Definitely one of my favorite video games from my childhood!

This video started and I felt the nostalgia like a kick in the teeth. I hadn’t thought about this game in over a decade but I played it all the time as a small child. I didn’t even know the name of it, but now I do. I’ll probably pick it up

TH is a very good game and actually has been since 1997...i prefer it over the modern versions which need a hardcore mode (patients dying, bad reputation, difficult decisions or sending patients you cannot treat yet to another hospital) ... thanks Zakh!

It's great that the community are keeping this game alive.
Populous: The Beginning, another great Bullfrog game, has a similar mod package. Improved graphics, tons of new levels and multiplayer
