I think that a large part of the joy of decorating for the seasons or holidays is, for me at least, opening the box and finding that the items in the box also kept my memories safe. That one pumpkin I knitted in purple orange yarn because I went to five shops and just couldn't find any orange yarn. That one pink glittary bauble with a little bear on it, it was a gift for my first Christmas from my paternal grandparents. That tablecloth, we found that in that little secondhand shop while we were on holiday in Germany, with the lady that made us tea. Those waxy red apples, they belonged to my husband's mother, who I never got to meet because she passed away before we knew each other.
I am of the firm conviction that if it pleases you to buy a whole new set of baubles every year, good for you, but, secretly, I feel like a storebought matching everything? It feels a bit empty. But obviously, that is only me putting in my two-penny worth!

Very cozy and delightful

I look forward to your videos every week, they are so comforting and give me inspiration to decorate!

I love how cozy this video is and how it made me feel like I had traveled in time!🥰⏳
Your Fall decor is beautiful and it made me think that I have to curate mine. I have some thinks that aren't in great shape and I will start to trade them for things that can stand the test of time.🙂
Have a blessed week!🥰🙏💐
