The house was built in 1697, and I've lived here for almost three months, and I am doing everything I can to make it into my dream home.

I hope you enjoy the video this week everyone! What colour do you think I should paint the back bedroom? I have been thinking of a light blue colour scheme, but also some soft whites in there too - thoughts welcome! :)

Great idea moving the door then it doesn't intrude into the room, it really does make a difference. That looks so cozy eating your apple pancakes by the fire, a well earned treat.

A light curtain on a pressure rod just inside the window is all that is needed to provide privacy. The lovely beam deserves to be the highlight of that wall.

It will be a cosy and useful room when you've finished, I'm sure. Having more storage space in a small cottage is always a good idea. The whicker baskets beneath the bed will hold a lot. I enjoy watching the changes you make, thanks.

One colour use quarter white with it for the ceiling. Peachy / terracotta warm shades. It'll be like a wrap around hug walking in.
