This is football .Players crying , fans crying and even the manager crying. Pure love and passion for their art. These were real men. Not todays Insta Models who play part time football

Back when Mourinho and a group of men, not Insta posers, could achieve a CL trophy.

Ballon d'Or is just group of man who vote for their friends ,
Sneijder deserve to get it that year

@fakhririandirafif4092 7 years ago

WESLEY SNEIJDER deserved Ballon d'or that year, 100%

Guess what, he wasnt even got into top 3 smh

If there was not Inter, Barcelona would take UCL trophies 3 years consecutively. At that period only team could stop Barcelona was Jose Mourinho's Inter.

What a year for Diego Milito, Mourinho and Inter!

Inter had a team of real men: Cambiasso, Milito, Sneijder, Etoo, Maicon etc

3:47 is Sneijder realising that he didn't win the ballon d'or even after winning the treble and carrying his national team to a world cup final.

Marco Materazzi on Mourinho "I would have gone through fire for him"

John Terry on Mourinho "I would leave the field in a coffin for him"

One of my absolute favourite stories in football was this inter season. A very lovable squad of ageing players with class such as ZanettI, Cambiasso, Milito, Stankovic, all approaching the end of their careers with this the last real chance for any of them to ever win the champions league. Their play style as well was very patient, very controlled and disciplined, not a single diva player, everyone listened to the manager. The way they beat Barca despite the red card through sheer willpower. The moment after the game with mourinho saying goodbye to Materazzi was awesome as well. Football at it’s best can tell us stories. It’s been a while since I’ve seen one as good as this.

After a decade I still can't understand how Sneijder didn't win the Golden ball that year, he had an almost perfect year, he won the treble win Inter and reached the World cup final with Netherlands (and besides he scored 5 goals during the tournament)
