guys this is a re-upload, this video has been blocked in total nearly 10 times 😭 so if there are scenes missing or they're cut down that is why, the original video was like 1h10 mins long!! I'm not even sure this one will stay up, lets hope this version pleases youtube and its wrath 🙃

Anybody who said Kate Winslet was ugly or overweight is pure jealousy lol.

Fun fact, there actually is a grave in Nova Scotia of a coal shoveler in the engine room with the name J Dawson whose body was recovered from the icy waters and buried there. Since this movie came out teenage girls and misinformed fans of the movie have gone to his grave and cried and still leave flowers there to this day thinking he was Jack. I like to think there’s an afterlife where this guy is seeing all this with no context and is just confused lol

Also thanks for the re-upload

Years later the survivors stopped going to stadium games, as the crowds shouting and cheering reminded them of the thousand people screaming for help in the water.

May they all the people on Titanic rest in peace and may the Lord be with and bless their loved one's.

as a person who used to have to stand watch at night on a ship, trust me, its not always easy to see something that noticeable lol

Hey Abby, my great-grandmother was supposed to be on the Titanic, on her way to Canada, but her paperwork, or something like that was't in order, which prevented her boarding.  True story. She was emigrating from Ukraine.

You're right - 5th Officer Harold Lowe was a good man...he did return to the scene in his lifeboat and did manage to pull  a few survivors from the water.

What was so mean about the ending? Rose lived to be a 100, did everything she promised should would do in her life with Jack on her own, had  a family, flew an airplane, travelled many countries, rode on a horse like a cowgirl, died in a warm bed. That is like the nicest ending there could ever be.

The iceberg collision in real life wasn't as 'avoidable' as the movie presents it. They had actually rerouted farther south to avoid icebergs, as other ships were sending out iceberg warnings. The night the ship sank, it was pitch black, the moon wasn't out, and there was no wind, so there was no breakwater on icebergs, making them much harder to spot from a distance. Miraculously, they saw it in time to avoid a head-on collision and nearly cleared it entirely, but unfortunately scraped along the side, punching small seams in the hull. It was simply an unfortunate situation; a few centimeters more and they would have cleared it completely.

Also, ships typically sink faster than it takes to load everyone onto lifeboats, and even the Titanic — which took roughly two hours and twenty minutes to go down — likely couldn't have saved absolutely everyone. The Costa Concordia is a good example: 32 people died when it sank, and that was a modern cruise ship with enough lifeboats for everyone.

Thank you for your re-upload efforts <3 It's crazy how much you battled to get this video out! Regarding this scene at 35:37 I remember watching this as a kid and being very angry at this "stupid" decision to get off the boat... but watching this now as an adult, I can see why she did that. She wasn't just watching Jack, she's watching her hope and renewed will to live being pulled away from her the more the boat got lowered. She had already decided not to jump in the water and stay with him before, and this hasn't changed. What was waiting for her in that boat on the water was "death". Jack was smart to make her promise to hold on to life beyond him. At least this is how I see it

In those days lifeboats were intended as means to transfer passengers from a damaged boat to land or to another ship. That way a single boat could make multiple back and forth trips and it wasn't seen as necessary to fit all the passengers into lifeboats at once. The logic behind that was that pretty much all accidents happen near land caused either by ships ending up in shallow waters or ship crashing into one another near ports where ship density was high.
Also the final lifeboat was deployed mere minutes before Titanic sunk, so there was no time left to deploy additional lifeboats had they been there.
It probably goes without saying that the Titanic disaster turned this philosophy upside down.

Your hate towards Cal gives me life! That was awesome Abby! LOL

I learned something today (shoutout to Ti’s Hot Mess History!)…. John Jacob Astor actually opened the kennels to give the dogs a chance 😢😢😢

The tears in your eyes reflect the beauty in your soul, though you try to hide your feelings, your humanity shines like a beacon in the night.  Thank you young Lass.

So thankful to be a Millennial and to have experienced this masterpiece in the 90s. Not to mention have Leo posters all over my bedroom walls!

Here's the line that really gets to me. (Paraphrased.)

"Jack saved me in every way that it is possible to save another person."

Binoculars don't help you see in the dark, they are for daytime use.

I feel the pain of the people who was on the engine room , because this is my every day job , i spend 5 months at sea without seen land...

I enjoy your video , you are a true beauty by the way 😮

Great reaction! I always cry at the ending too.
