Episode 7 is some of Hal’s childhood. Hal gets out of prison, sheriff waiting to pick him up.  They have a fling/romance. They get harassed and stares, even on a dinner date. After, they go back to her house and met with a Molotov cocktail that sets the place on fire. A fight pursues. They fall through the burning floor where Hal is knocked out. (We get a flash back of Hal’s childhood with his dad) Waking up in a room with a mark on his arm. Noah walks in. Reveals he is half manhunter… if you want more, let me know 😉

Pressure test this:
Noah, whose grandma and grandpa died in 2016, doesn't blame Hal or John for their death. And knows Hal is boinking his mom. And finds out John just punched his dad out and says his dad probably deserved it. Billy Macon should be running this town after inheriting it all. What's the manhunter's m.o.? See without being seen. Saddle up to the Alpha. Why would Hal be afraid if he's planning to tell Kane that Noah is a manhunter? Why even bother? Just pop the kid. But that's not Hal's plan. Hal's afraid because he's hatching a plan to fake his death. Hal and Noah are conspirators. And John being around isn't part of the plan, so he taunts John to get him pissed off and leave. Hal and Noah plan to join forces with Sinestro, who's been broken out of jail (while Hal has an alibi being locked up himself). Hal used Earl and his intergalactic phone for a dead drop with an old galaxy buddy. That's the signal to break Sinestro out. Earl returning to Earth is the signal that Sinestro is freed. Noah has access to the flesh-building machine. They make a biologically alive but inert copy of Hal. Swap clothes. Bust his nose. Prop him up on the bleacher stands. Shoot him point-blank. Hal already took the intergalactic phone back and gets a space taxi. The clone de Hal passes the autopsy.
Why? Hal lost faith in the Guardians. He never trusted them. He never reported in for 10 years. He realizes Sinestro was right all along. Sinestro knows the Guardians' physical weakness, and Noah is a next-gen manhunter. And they can take all the Guardians out. Coup d'État.

Here's an easy theory. The Manhunters found out that fear is destructive and the cause of disorder and chaos in the universe and decided that to eradicate fear, you had to eradicate the creatures who it lives inside - some real iRobot shit. During the genocide it was discovered the source of fear was something the guardians wanted to keep a secret and proceeded to eradicate the Manhunters who were probably trying to upset the hegemony the guardians had by keeping this secret, Sinestro finds out and goes on a Thanos arc but is stopped before he can really get going. The last Manhunter Zoe, has the secret with her probably stuck on a wrecked ship she can neither fix nor move which is why she is in Rushville vs any other place on the planet that an alien ship literally didn't crash on. Fast forward to upcoming episode 7, this is the secret that created the mystery of Rushville that links all 5 intergalactic interests seen in this show with an equal stake - Antaan - the catalyst, Sinestro - the strategist, Zoe - the witness, Hal - the seeker, Guardians - the keepers - absolutely zero reasons to be stuck together like this without the secret that binds them all. John serves as our audience surrogate and has been hand held by all except Sinestro which we will see in season 7 or 8. Bro, these writers are good lol

Maybe the safe houses Sinestro’s battery. We all know that the guardians have Hal’s battery which John handed over himself. John is gonna need a battery unless he can tap into the source himself.

Hal and the backup remind me a lot of the doctor and the hologram from iRobot. Ask the right questions and get the right answers. 🤔

It’s pronounced “KOR”, just like John Stewart was in the Marine (KOR) = Corps. Green Lantern (KOR) Corps.

Guy explicitly states in Episode 6 that Sinestro was broken out while Hal was still in jail. That's why Hal is ruled out as a suspect. The transcript says Sinestro escaped after Hal died, then immediately acknowledges the show says the opposite. The entire "secret plan between Hal and Sinestro" theory depends on the escape happening after the murder. It doesn't. The theory collapses on the timeline.

But he got out of prison in the time that Hal was still in prison

Convincing but I think it is the opposite. I think Hal was investigating Sinestro and how he killed a guardian because green lanterns can not kill. He finds out Sinestro was using the yellow power of fear and think a guardian is adding him (Lianna). I think Hal is the only living man that knows Sinestro well enogh to find the Yellow Lantern Battery and is keeping it at the fortress of storage. Lianna is pushing to have John Trained her way and Sinestro is underminding Hal confidance and making him fear this is to give Parallax an being to influance and take over. Lianna thinks Hals death will free parallax so she pushes John to do it. I do think Hal is dead but I think Bernadette Stewart did it on Hals request to try to stop the changes he is feeling not knowing it is an ouside entity. She wants John to get the ring and investigate Hals murder not caring at this point if she spends the rest of her life in prison as long as John has that ring.

So does this have anything to do with doomsday ? 🧐

I remember when Superman Returns came out. I saw the movie online 2 weeks before it came out, HD quality.

I remember walking downstairs at a friend's house and all the kids were watching Prince of Egypt, and I asked how he got that film; it won't come out in theaters for nearly 2 more weeks! He said, "Man, I'm from New Jersey." Until this day, I don't know what that means.

2016 Hal is a clone (who may not know he's a clone.) The real Hal was replaced with an inferior scaredy-cat version of himself by Sinestro so that it could be used in some sort of plan to create a yellow core. It'll also be revealed that Lianna is working with Sinestro (or maybe Sinestro is working FOR her) and her death was faked so that she could leave Oa and set up a scenario to push the cloned Hal to the edge. The real Hal may still be alive and in a pocket dimension cube [Source: my gut, and I have a BIG gut] 🤣🧐🤔🤞

Yeah the comments on here so far have been fucking weird.

So here’s a genuine Lanterns related theory.

I think that Hal found out something about the manhunters somehow, something the guardians didn’t want to be public knowledge. Wiping out an entire sector. And I think that there was or should I say is a forge where they were built. Hal I think knows Noah is a bio manhunter of some sort and is worried that maybe one day Noah will try to eliminate all sentient life or worse rebuild the manhunters to do so. So Hal started asking questions. Why did Antan want Zoey dead? Where did he come from? Why did Abin Sur help Zoey escape? Why did the guardians want to replace Hal? So what does Hal do? He cultivates a relationship with Kerry in order to learn more about Noah. Perhaps he genuinely does have feelings for her also, but I can’t help but feel he had another reason. But what would he do if said manhunter found out he was spying on it? Well that manhunter would kill him. And without a ring Hal stands no chance. So he created a clone using the old manhunter technology, one to keep and eye out on Noah and if needs be leave a breadcrumb trail for John to follow. I think the real Hal left Earth not long after making this clone, went into space and broke Sinestro out possibly. Why? Because Sinestro knows about the manhunters and other threats the guardians never mentioned such as the Blackckest night prophecy, the anti monitor or hell even the Red Lanterns. So he’s working with Sinestro to find out more.

Orrrrr he heard Sinestro got out and has gone after him whilst still keeping an eye out on Noah. He left a trail of crumbs for John to find and knew John would somehow get the ring back and once he found him Hal would have a weapon that could help him defeat his enemies. I think Sinestro has gone to the forgotten sector and is using the same forge the guardians used to make the manhunters, to make yellow lantern rings instead.

Has anyone noticed that Sinestro and John Stewart have Sanpaku eyes?  An indication of danger or even psychopathy.

Remember when the cow walked through the wall?  Neither John nor Hal looked surprised.  Because BOTH of them had seen portals like that before.

The Guardians and the Manhunters apparently use the same technology.

Hal should have been a little suspicious when John wasn’t surprised or shocked by seeing that portal tech.  It should have been new to John, but it wasn’t.  Anyhow, I wouldn’t be surprised if portal tech is in the box.

And the other Halogram is still unaccounted for.  The one that had its own power source from the chipped off piece of the ring.  I suspect it was that Halogram that did the ten years in prison instead of Hal.

For that matter, the Sinestro in the prison cell could have been a Sinestro-gram.

With a portal at your disposal you and your hologram could switch places in a prison cell whenever you needed to.

Hal and Sinestro could have been working an investigation against a corrupt Guardian for the last ten years when everyone thought they were both behind bars.

Plus…at this point in the story, we don’t know for sure yet where Sinestro is in his villain arc.  He may have been falsely accused by the bad Guardian.  Turning evil and using a yellow ring may STILL be further off in his future.  Half of everything we have heard so far has been a lie, …so who knows?
