The one game that adds a thing that matters more than racing & story, the BOOBA

More Booba = More Downforce

Those alternate Routes in the Rally Events were actually super cool, I don't think I've seen that in a game before.

Interesting game even without the cutscenes, that Camera is absolutely infuriating though.

17:52 bro is enjoying watching the cut scene  💀

I can just imagine the amount of parents walking in just at the juiciest moments.

The feeling of this game kind of reminds me of Ace Combat if it was a racing game.
Not surprising since Ace Combat is also from Namco.

I actually really liked the race where you are forced to finish 2nd. It's very rare for sports games to focus on the corruption and greed aspect of competition.

In an early story cutscene, Rena mentions that GVI was already being accused of fixing races long before she joined the team. The implications that this "client" bet AGAINST Rena winning that specific race at Suzuka and the pit chief ordering you to fall back and finish 2nd is damning proof of how GVI operates: The minute Rena proves her real talent and builds a reputation, the organization immediately abuses it to profit.

It's the kind of drama that's really genius because it affects both gameplay (A racing game telling the player to lose on purpose!?) and story (A large, wealthy sports organization engaging in illegal betting and shady practices is 110% realistic and believable).

I wouldn't mind a sequel, or at least another racing game that features the Ace Combat radio system and a similar "political" storyline that actually gives more to the racing than just getting 1st and winning all the time.

This feels like Ace Combat series but racing lmao

I LOVE IT

7:58 "NEURON ACTIVATION"

17:39 must say the editing is on point here

ofc the shower scene is the most replayed

R Racing Evolution is feels like the combination of Ridge Racer (but simulator) and Ace Combat especially the voice chatter has <<this>>.

The cars in the garage/showroom (whatever) look really good, but once you enter a race, the downgrade of the models be hitting hard.
Also, nice story mode ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This game is actually pretty solid, and has a banging soundtrack, since it's made by the same guys that made Ridge Racer.

Around this era, everyone tried to clone a popular game genre and simply add boobs hoping to sell. Tony Hawk = BMX XXX, WWF Smackdown = Rumble Roses, You Don't Know Jack = The Guy Game, Gran Turismo = R:RE, and so on.

I really like how Dustin reddens every time when he sees some exposed bits of woman. 🤭 This is why I absolutely love japanese games nowadays. ❤

We need more Racing games with females as protagonist and we definitely need more microphone shots.

Ambulance drivers behind the wheel of a race car is a terrifying concept. Their main source of fuel is caffeine and gas station snacks.

This game is a passion project of the Ridge Racer Project team, so much so that they wanted RR to go this direction when the former devs expressed interest in rebooting the RR IP long after the series was silently killed off. They wish to include real world car brands and real world locations, with closer to life physics. Which is very strange because many RR fans enjoyed the arcade and fictional content the series had, and the team responsible for a memorable series wasn't looking to support that.

2:38 That caught me off guard so bad xD

7:56 and 17:15 oh my God, that is probably the most unexpected moment from Dustin Eden i've ever seen, man i am shock to see this scene 👍😊😁. Congratulation Eden
