SAS Veteran REACTS to Ready or Not’s Most BRUTAL Yacht Raid

Phil Campion Unfiltered

A billion-pound super-yacht plunged into chaos. Flashbangs bouncing off marble. Tight corridors, mirrored walls, and nowhere to hide. One wrong door and you’re finished.

This isn’t just a gaming clip, it’s a pressure cooker disguised as entertainment, and it raises real questions about boarding operations, tactical discipline, and the future of close-quarters combat.

In this episode, Phil Campion, former UK Special Forces, breaks down a Ready or Not scenario titled “Brutal Luxury Yacht Raid, Ultimate Ready or Not Experience, Realistic AI Team Tactics.” Phil exposes what the game gets frighteningly right, the sequencing, the communication, the disciplined rooms clears, and where simulation still falls short of reality. Because on a real yacht raid, there’s no clean comms, no perfect intel, and no guarantee your team walks off that boat intact.

This isn’t about gaming, it’s about standards, decision-making, and how modern simulations are shaping the next generation of operators. Phil goes deeper into the rising role of AI teammates, digital overwatch, and how close we’re getting to missions where human operators aren’t the only ones making life-or-death calls.

This is Tactical Truth, where we cut through the spectacle and get to what actually matters: the tactics, the mindset, and the reality behind the footage.

hey phil you should totally give this another reaction with a recent video from GLID Gaming, they are real veterans and show the game in a such better light with teamwork and coordinating and how the suspects in the game are very smart it's much more indicative of the how the game actually is 🔥

Would suggest watchin GLID gaming's ready or not Marines video, they do proper clearing and actually are like 12 or 15 people so it's a pretty somewhat realistic operator count when it comes to clearing such a large area.

Phil. Just a thought. People might like either you playing the game how regiment would have done it or advising someone else playing next to you?
Good vid tho, as always. Keep em comin mate.

You should deffo give it a go watching GLID gaming play this game, the guy who runs the channel is a retired Royal Marines Commando and plays with fellow veterans. Lots of communication, strategy and teamwork.

Big Phil should play door kickers 2 instructing someone else what to do based on actual tactics. Happy to volunteer on this one too!

I request that Phil cozy up with a game developer and create a tactical shooter. Call it Campion's Champions.

I love this game and this channel, an inspiration to me, maybe we could get you to work with the Devs on how to make the game more realistic😂😂 with the issues (excellent points) flashbang, then 2 secs, then in, etc
Keep it up Phil 💪

It looked like this guy was playing on easy mode vs the computer.

You should watch players COOP with eachother vs hard mode. Often online I see former swat and special forces do it

The issue with the NPCs is that they are zero autonomous. They can stack up and clear on command, but that's it. They can't figure out on their own what to do next which means that there is lots of stop and go. You can't tell them to clear in a direction dynamically. If there are two doorways stacked, they will always stop on the second one. Also, as you pointed out, they are a bit janky. They always finish every single animation before doing the next move and that means OPEN DOOR wait THROW BANGS wait SHUFFLE IN AT YOUR OWN PACE.
They also very often get caught out just standing there while being shot at. They can't take cover on their own e.g.

However, when you play with humans it's a totally different story. It's much more fluid so it would be interesting to see you comment on a game with 5 players.
