PSA to alot of the negative comments future or present: I’m not sure where I asked in the video If you disliked  the fact I use non binary inclusive language?? I’ve been doing it for over a year so if you didn’t have a problem with it in past videos I’m not sure why it’s all of a sudden it’s a issue now that I’ve brought it up.
And to everyone who does not care or appreciates it… love you 🫶🏻
The topics talked about in this video are important and I don’t want what I said in the first small part of the video to take away from that ❤️

Telling someone "you did this to yourself" only really works if it's a foreseeable consequence
You were speeding and got a ticket, well you did it to yourself
You got a tattoo and had a crazy reaction that no one can figure out for 3 years, that's not a "you did it to yourself" situation

I have chronic nerve pain, and let me tell you ... even if you don't naturally hace anxiety or depression, being in pain day in and day out will GIVE YOU anxiety and depression. Not just the mental struggle of being in pain either, your body will start pumping massive amounts of adrenaline to deal with the pain and give you horrendous panic attacks. I feel so bad for her.

For inclusive reasons or not, 'they' has been a perfectly grmamatically correct singular pronoun for centuries. People need to get a grip.

The amount of dismissal this person has received is sickening. None of what happened is this person's fault and I pray they find a solution for the pain and mental health.

Advice from a nurse: no wounds should take 6 months to heal. Any wounds that are taking that long would be a major concern, monitored, that’s going into the territory of chronic wounds like leg ulcers and such which have a very intense and long treatment plan. Small, surface wounds like grazes, scrapes, surface lacerations and of course including tattoos in this ‘minor wound’ should only take about a month to heal at most!

I have a 30 year old tattoo where the artist was very heavy handed and to this day it hurts on a couple of spots of the tattoo. I think that’s what happened to her. That tattoo is way too raised and scarred in an area where there’s way too many nerve endings.

Sounds like the tattoo artist went so deep the ink damaged some nerves in her spine, cause that “ant bites” on her sides. That happens to be on my feet/legs its a sharp tingling like when my legs fall asleep from lack of blood flow etc. and that her disks that were the most inked being the most painful. I honestly would suggest she see a nervous system/spine specialist

I wish doctors would stop prescribing prednisone like it’s candy. It has SERIOUS side effects some of which are mental. And they always downplay it like “oh you might feel a bit weird”. NO. I was prescribed it and I felt utterly insane for two weeks. I don’t have any severe mental problems. This drug made my mind go from normal to staying up for days with cold sweats and severe anxiety unable to leave the house and feeling like my brain was being electrified. And my friends who have also been prescribed prednisone all report the same mental symptoms.

I had a discussion with my physiotherapist about health practitioners not caring or being dismissive, and he told me there were studies that show women are dismissed more often than men when they come forward with a health issue that does not have an immediately clear explanation. I was baffled. Not assuming anybody's gender here, maybe this is not relevant at all. But the fact that a person's sex/gender could give a doctor a reason to think they're making it up, or "it's in their head"... Something is seriously wrong with some health professionnals :(

As someone who’s watched both of these channels for years now. I realize how much the two of you have in common and I wish you two could collab and become friends. Like you can just tell that the both of them are so genuine that this literally feels like a conversation between the two of you and yet you’ve never met.

You can absolutely become allergic to something later in your life, things you've used or eaten many times before, and sometimes seemingly out of nowhere.  as well as allergies can go away or decline as you get older!  Some things that can make this happen more likely is hormonal changes, severe ones, pregnancy, medication, etc. etc. The body is crazy!  I had barely an allergy until I hit around 33

Honestly, with how scarred that piece is and how severe the pain was I wouldn't be surprised if the problem is as simple as nerve damage.  I don't think they mentioned whether they had seen a doctor for possible nerve damage, as there are MANY nerves in the back that the tattoo artist could have hit, as my ADHD has me struggling with this longer video lol, but I hope someone else thinks of this and lets them know so they can look into if they haven't already!

As a long time viewer of thelegitcreep, it made me feel so sad to see them so emotional, they're usually so bubbly. It really resonated with me when they said their depression wasn't taken seriously because of their personality, as a fellow bubbly person with depression.
I'd love to see the two of you do a collab, I think your personalities would mesh well!

I left a comment on their video but I wanted to share here as well. I have a chronic pain condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Mine was brought on following a surgery to my ankle. I’ve had this for 2 years, and I was living with it for a year before it was diagnosed. It’s caused by nerve damage and will never go away. I am seeing a pain management doctor that is trying an experimental implant in the back of my leg that stimulates the nerves to retrain my brain from recognizing the pain. I’ve had it in for 2 weeks, and I’ve had some relief. I stay at a pain level of 7 most days. Any kind of relief is a plus at this point. I hope they find some relief somewhere.

I'm only part way through the video right now but this sounds SO MUCH like Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I have CRPS type 2 (unfortunately progressive) from getting hit by a car years ago and the pain thelegitcreep drescribes is EXACTLY what CRPS is like, even down to the numbness, nerve issues and mental impact.
I've had similar issues with tattoo pain and healing since developing CRPS, but since CRPS has taken over most of my body I don't worry so much now about tattoo work progressing the pain.
I also had a similar experience with prednisone, we hoped it'd slow or stop the progression but it didn't help and just made other conditions I had worse.
CRPS is horrific and life altering, so many medical professionals write it off as psychological or not actually serious but it isn't known as "the suicide disease" for no reason.

Honestly, the more I listened the more I think he was so heavy handed he caused permanent damage to the nerve endings, which has possibly left thelegitcreep with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) which came to mind because at one point i thought i might have it , back before i was diagnosed with hEDS.

Thank you for talking about this Lauren, I love her channel and she seems like such a sweet person, really sad that this happened to her and I hope she gets the help she needs 😢

I got a tattoo at 16, like an idiot, and I now have nerve and skin damage on the whole area I got tattooed💔 Even to get it in the sun makes my belly ill. Got a coverup over it, with pain unmatched by childbirth. Miserableeeeeeeee. And forever will have a sensitive area there for life. Its never worth it. Too young for tattoos is real! Poor gurl. I feel aweful to know she delt with this all. So sad

As somebody who has POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and FND (functional nuerological disorder) the part where they said something along the lines of everybody was saying that it looks fine but it doesn’t mean something’s not wrong. Years and years of tests and dismissive doctors saying that nothings wrong and that I was faking it until I found the doctors I have now who finally listened and was finally diagnosed. Sadly these two conditions are chronic and there’s not even a lot of medication tha can help. But just having diagnosis and feeling seen made a huge difference. I feel like they could probably relate to that.
