You explain the feeling beautifully! I have the T100 as I find it much more flickable and better at town/city speeds. The Triumph classic range give you a ride reminiscent of the bikes of old. I was a CB550 Super Sport (1976) rider up until I bought the T100 in 2023. I wouldn’t go back. Can’t work on the new stuff but I spend more time riding than carb cleaning etc. Liked and subscribed.

Great video. As a UK ex-pat, it's really wierd watching this video from New Zealand as your ride on some of the roads I used to ride on back in the day! I'm hoping to buy a T120 later this year but have to wait for a Cranbury Red bike to arrive in the country around October - just in time for summer. 😁

I already own a Bonneville T120 Black 2026 here in Oz. In fact I was informed by Triumph Australia, I actually got the 1st T120 Black 2026 model in South Australia and Australia back in the 1st week of January this year. Not officially supposed to arrive till March 26. Already put nearly 3000 kms on her and we are entering into Autumn and Winter. I'll ride right through winter which can get cold in the outback (warm during the day - freezing at night). Desert gets COLD. Come Spring, already considering a trip to Perth 2,717 kms one way. Should be a NICE RIDE and over the longest STRAIGHT road in the world.

I’m pretty sure it’s not a quick shifter, I might be wrong but I think you are just crash changing it. Lovely bike, I’m getting the exact same one , best colour for 2026 range.
Ms flyer said the filler cap is fiddly, I think they’ve even improved that now.

I have a 2023 t120. its a nice bike, everyone looks at it when riding by. Only thing that bothers me about the bike is the gearing it seems that with euro speed limits in lower speed town traffic it feels like 30, 40 and 50 the gears seem to be at just the cusp on the trottle on unless you go down a gear but then you loose the nice charm of the engine. i prefer rain mode for city traffic. road on the faster paced roads. TBH I might let it go or as some recommend change the rear sprocket.
