Hey man in your last vid you mentioned the fact, or alluded to the fact, that you might help some ppl through things sometimes, like depression etc. You joked about being a counselor etc. I just want to say that your energy and openness, and how you’re so genuine and you seem kind but real … idk man I just want to say I bet you do provide a bit of what you were hinting at. It’s a whole vibe chilling w you and watching you get up to no good on the chess board :) You do reach people man and you reached me :)

To watch The Ginja play Titled Tuesday every week is really a study in the human condition. Love it Simon.

"I think generally people just need to chill the f--- out a little bit more, everywhere in life, because where all gonna die . . . " Truer words . . . . Thank you, as always, for the great chess, the humanity, the perspectives on life, and for making a A Place to Go To during hard times.

I've seen every chess channel but this is the only one I watch each week. Even though your defeats sadden us all, it brings a sort of mortality to it all that helps us. We only learn in defeat. And also - it makes us viewers feel better about our lives; our endless defeats.

It's the "I should get blinds" time of year again. 🙂

The week is not complete until you have posted your Titled Tuesday endeavours. Love the chess, your humour and musings. I have no idea how you win as many as you do with all the talking you do. You say such witty and funny things. Made my week. Let me know if you ever make it out to Tokyo one day.

Thanks for fighting through it even when not in the best form this week. Absolutely spectacular games, and really makes my days much easier knowing I get to watch a few games of the crazy Ginger before bed.

Love this series Simon! Your adventureous play and awesome commentary makes this a must watch. Please keep them coming (P.S. 29.30 A fianchettoed bishop is not defined as …..’a bishop in front of the king’ for any novices watching. Often it will be if the King castles but a bishop can be fianchettoed without a king directly behind it).
