This video may be redundant after tomorrow's presentation, but I can live with that :_ganonlaugh::_triforce:

I was wondering where have you gone, i thought El Puerco found you

I love the idea of getting the Light Arrows in a dungeon! Link needs to work for it!! 🤣

I saw on another vid somebody come up with the suggestion that Link traverses the Light Temple AS A CHILD; right after Link pulls out the Master Sword, he wakes up in the Light Temple and must defeat it before he wakes up a second time as an adult.

The Golden Land having its own royalty is both surprising and also a perfectly obvious forerunner to the concept of Lorule two decades later.

What my mind jumps to pretty quickly in this video is: Having the Sacred Realm be accessed as Child Link, after opening the Door of Time. Have it be a 'final test' for Child Link, with a boss fight against Ganondorf at the end. But you can't win. Ganondorf stomps you easily, and goes to claim the Tri-Force, but we witness it split into three before we are sealed away for seven years in order to grow into Adult Link.

I could see the Temple of Light/Sacred Realm being added as a dungeon between first pulling the Master Sword and the adult awakening cutscene. Still playing as child Link, the objective could be conquering the Temple and its guardians as a trial for worthiness of the Triforce of Courage.

Instead of giving the Light Medallion as the first one, it could be given as the last one and it's that which serves to forge the Light Arrows, still giving us Medallion spells.  Sort of like how Link has to go through the Sacred Realm mind journey in Skyward Sword.

I would do unspeakable things for a Hyrule Warriors game set during the Hyrulian civil war.

My thoughts is that the Light Temple could be split into two, like the Spirit Temple is. Instead of Rauru just giving you the Light Medallion, you go to the Light Temple for an adult Link tutorial mini-dungeon, like about the size of the Ice Cavern. Probably have some rooms where you collect all the silver rupees. You'd get the Hookshot as the dungeon's item and at the end fight some guardian mini-boss. Afterward, you'd come across a room where you can clearly see there is more to this dungeon, but you cannot reach it yet. Maybe you could see the sacred realm and the other side of the temple is on another floating island or something in the distance. There would then be a warp point to return to the Temple of Time

Since you aren't getting the hookshot from Dampe, then instead after doing Dampe's race thing, he rewards you with "Dampe's Lantern". The lantern can be used to attract or locate ghosts and would be used to find the Big Poes in Hyrule field. They could perhaps also be used to defeat the Poe Sisters in the Forest Temple.

After completing all the other dungeons, then you'd return to the Temple of Time to meet Sheik, but instead of the usual cut-scene where you get the light arrows and Zelda gets captured, you'd instead unlock the entrance (or warp thing) to go back to the Light Temple. Now with all the sages, they can make a rainbow bridge thing to get to the other side of the temple / floating island. Now this version of the Light Temple would have puzzles to utilize all of your weapons to test Link's abilities. There, you would get the Light Arrows and defeat a much more difficult guardian being as the boss to prove your worth. After defeating the boss, you'd warp back to the Sacred Chamber with Rauru and he'd give you the Light Medallion.

Upon returning to the Temple of Time, you'd then get the cut-scene where Sheik reveals herself as Zelda and gets captured by Ganondorf.

They could have young link do the light temple to get the light medallion and once he gets it, he becomes adult link after the big flash of light and it goes to the cutscene where he looks at himself as an adult for the first time and that would be the “last” child dungeon just before becoming a adult 😅

20:55 - love that the Sacred Realm was basically the inspiration for the Sky Islands of TotK.

I wonder if they’ll change the ending in order to legitimize the “fallen hero” timeline.

I think the Pyramid of Power from A Link to the Past is the corrupted form of the Temple of Light after Ganondorf touches the Triforce. Rauru mentions that the Temple of Light sits in the center of the Sacred Realm, which is exactly were the Pyramid is in  the Dark World. The Pyramid even has a chamber that houses the Triforce.

Whats also interesting is that ALTTP's backstory mentions that Ganondorf and his theives betrayed each other over Triforce inside of the Sacred Realm before Ganondorf killed them all himself. OoT never shows this happening at all though.

What if the Temple of Light gets included in the remake and it's a mini-dungeon where Link is urged by Rauru to get to the Triforce's chamber before Ganondorf does, but unfortunatley Link arrives a second too late and is pulled into stasis to protect him from Ganondorf's greed induced murder spree.

I always liked the idea of a Light Temple boss being a floating creature that brightens the entire room as an attack so you can't see where it went for a few seconds

Good to have you back! @Monster Maze

Always loved that early 90's Zelda art. I was really hoping and almost convinced the floating islands in TotK would in some way be connected to the triforce but alas.

Remember when the trailers for Tears came out and many people thought the floating islands with the yellow and golden trees were in the sacred realm?
How disappointed were we. lol
Always good to see you my man.

Now that you mention it, right after Zelda gets kidnaped would be the perfect place to add the Temple of Light. You're right there in the Temple of Time when it happens. I can imagine Rauru or Zelda contacting you telepathically to tell you you need the light arrows, and instructing you to drive the Master Sword back into the pedestal to enter the Temple of Light, just as you did in Twilight Princess to enter the Temple of Time's dungeon.

Just in time before the great reveal.
Finally I'd say you know how to handle your upload timing !
