Humphrey Bogart my favorite actor...thanks for the posting of this movie, much appreciated 👍

My life wouldn’t have been the same without Humphrey Bogart’s early lesson in how to be a man? It’s not the characters of the roles he played? It is in  the way he carried himself and projected himself? He is the  essence of charisma, a man whom knows he is a man and why he is a man? Nothing to prove, no reason to brag he just knows? He never would’ve played his role so well had he not been that kind of man?

Superb movie .  And a moral to the story .  a lot of old movies had a moral to the story .  Now, in this 21st century we live in, movies rarely have a moral , something good is the plot or happens at the end  .  most movies of 21st century are amoral which is more disturbing than immoral imho

years later the french lost to vietnam then america stuck their fat nose into it and they lost also.
