Complainers will always complain. Just keep doing what you're doing, it's good for the industry and good for us that are not pilots.

Just wanted to post a sincere "Thank you" for the work everyone in the team does. In my humble opinion your reporting on these events is done with every bit of the respect they deserve. Keep up with the good work.

Anyone who claims you show no respect for the victims of the tragedy clearly haven't seen your videos about plane accidents. You always show respect and it is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time to watch.

There wasn't ever a second in my mind that thought your coverage was a money-grab. The viewers expressing that are likely not viewing this channel for the sake of learning and curiosity. They are likely trying to get a reaction out of you, and it always makes me sad when creators give in and defend themselves against the negativity instead of embracing the community that loves you. I've seen it so much lately. Negativity gets the attention it wants and it keeps the negativity coming.

When I worked in retail we had a mantra: focus on the custies (the positive customers) not the crusties (the ones who want to spread negativity).

When a tragedy like this happens, I know this channel is always going to educate with respectful compassion.

It sucks that just one bad comment can stand out among all the wonderful comments. Most people that watch your videos are well aware of how respectful you are. Keep doing what you’re doing. We need more people like you two

Sometimes an early video or podcast from a reliable source stating that there is no reliable information yet is itself a useful piece of information. Makes spotting fake news much easier.

I've worked for the UPS for 20 years, I have been an ADG acceptance auditor, a ramp supervisor, a load planner (among other things), and my FIRST stop for reliable info after this accident is the Mentor- platform.
I do for all air info, but as a former UPSer, this hit very close to home.

You and your team are doing an amazing job, I do hope you know that.
Please don't stop being at the forefront of objective aviation news.

Your channel has always been my go to for breaking information because of your commitment to cutting through the bullshit and misinformation. When the accident occurred the first thing I was looking for was that live stream. I appreciate it greatly that you provide this information for free for everyone and put so much effort into this. Thank you.

35+ years military and airline pilot here with decades of instructing and check airman experience. Your channel has become THE STANDARD in aviation commentary as far as I am concerned. ALWAYS the most respectful in every way. Much gratitude to you, Ben, and your INCREDIBLE TEAM. Thank You!

I truly believe you and Juan Browne are the most honest and trustworthy aviation creators and I appreciate your content so much. Please keep doing this!

Your videos are consistently thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely informative. Please don’t go quiet—keep fighting through all the noise. You and your team are true gems on YouTube.

Don't worry about complainers, Petter and Ben, you are more professional than 95% of the other so-called pilot channels, on YouTube.

Nice shout-out to Blancolirio, Petter. I watch your channel and his.

Gentlemen, please don’t let those negative comments upset you. There are always just a few people who, strangely, seem to get some pleasure from anonymously, and baselessly, criticizing others. I don’t understand it, but I know it happens on every channel. Please just focus on the overall response you get, which, I’m sure, is overwhelmingly positive. Your work is always responsible, respectful, helpful and informative - which is why you have millions of followers. Don’t change a thing and don’t worry🙂

@Krypto_Knight_33 10 months ago

I saw that comment and thought it was quite ironic that such a comment about crossing the line was in itself crossing the line and disrespectfully below the belt.
Then I figured it was either a farm bot or a troll.
I wouldn’t take it personally because you guys do a great job

One thing I tell speculators when an aircraft incident investigation is still ongoing is this:

“If the NTSB doesn’t even know what/why happened yet, what makes you think you do?”

@JM-ud6dq 10 months ago

I found hearing "what we don't know" to be very valuable. It helped me understand the process and find accurate information. "What we do know" was also great because it helped me validate truthful information as well. I appreciated the format.

@meredith1977 10 months ago

I appreciate you guys a lot. You obviously are trying to counter the bullshit that immediately proliferates. You obviously are prioritizing understanding, learning, and also sharing how these accidents affect us in both practical and emotional ways. Keep on it. We need your voices.

The internet positively bristles with people who say things virtually that they would never say face to face. It's a form of cowardice and online rage is the ultimate form of revving in neutral.

@soothingsense939 10 months ago

The thing I remember from the live stream was how moved you both were by the loss of life and the earnestness with which you encouraged respect within the audience. I thought the guest added so much expertise and I always think if I was someone close to a person involved in an accident, how grateful I would be to have a source of information I could trust and was so sensitive to the human impact. ❤
