Karl always referring to Steve when he talks about freaks is probably the funniest running joke of all time

I’m still watching this 13 years later and I miss Karl being on shows and interviews. I bet he’s sitting on a good pile of cash, re-grouting his kitchen over and over again.

Comedians have made entire careers on the back of a single joke that's not half as funny as an offhand comment from Karl Pilkington.

20 years later and so many of us are rewatching 😅😂

It's 2022 and I've still never seen an old person eating a Twix.

"Singing happy birthday for the 8th time that day"

Karl is absolutely on the comedy top

"So what's a freak to you?"
"Just summat that you look at and do a double take....Steve Merchant"
😂😂😂

This video will go down in internet history as the greatest interview in the world. long live Karl Pilkington.

i came close to pissing myself when he was running through his favourite 'freaks'. Just the way he was unveiling them "..Normal family, standing around.....with the little mate."

Who’s watching in 2026??
Karl is most unintentionally funny person I’ve ever seen.

When Karl published his first book in 2006, I wrote him to tell him that I was in such a bad place at the time that I found the Ricky Gervais show on HBO and The laughter and the joy that it brought me pulled me back from a very deep depression. And that he very likely saved my life. Karl actually wrote me And thanked me and told me He was very happy that he was able to help. that's something that a lot of people,  no matter what type of celebrity they are, would never do. Karl is a great guy.

"there hasn't been one publication from a monkey"

Karl Pilkington is an absolute genius.

......with their little mate......

Karls been obsessed with elephant  man for so long.

50 years ago is wild.

Karl "I'm not having a go" Pilkington

"says he's 120, probably about 40" is a legendary comedian level joke lol

6:00 "Sat down the piano singing happy birthday for the eighth time that day..." lmao

The reason Karl is so funny is that he says everything with complete conviction. He doesn't lie to make a story funny he just believes everything he says.
