Thank the Lord for Karl telling them to turn the music bed underneath them off.

Always fascinating when Karl displays genuine competence: his suggestion to turn off the music bed is dead-on.

I would pay good money to see the xfm shows filmed in this way

Yes the music playing in the background drives me crazy. I agree with Karl. Thanks to him for getting it turned off.  :)

lol Steve really is the glue that makes it work.

Love how Karl was showing off his experience in radio,

Stephen looks so fatherly in this, his patience with Karl and the way he looks at him,I love Stephen!

You really can see in this that the Ricky and Steve relationship had a shelf life. Steve wants Karl to be the star. Ricky wants to tell Karl's stories for him.

Karl just taking over the control of the show kills me. "LET'S PLAY A SONG!"

I'm so glad he got the bed turned off. I hate it when Radio 1 does that.

Karl really slipped back into producer mode for this! I was expecting him to say ‘time for rock busters’

Is Karl sitting on Steve's knee?

Ricky just cannot contain himself here, he almost derails the whole interview with his ceaseless interruptions

You can see from this video why Karl and Steve still meet up and why they're not really close to Ricky anymore

You can see Steve getting so annoyed with Ricky interrupting karl

There's definite tension and frustration from Steve towards Ricky in this vid which was towards the end of their time together.  Ricky is a genius but be a nightmare to be around for long periods .

Karl saying there’s too much staff in the studio pretty much sums up the bbc

1:27 Fucking spot on, thank god someone brought it up as I was about to close this.

Merchant always wants Karl to finish his story because he knows gold is coming, but Ricky can’t help himself interrupting.

I could listen to these three until I die of old age.
