Bro installed Windows on an Apple computer to run an Xbox emulator and play it with a PS4 controller connected to an Apple keyboard so he could play Minecraft

What’s next? Turning a PlayStation 3 into a ti-84 plus?

btw there is a project for running Xbox 360 games on iOS/macOS

As a matter of fact, the first batch of Xbox 360 developer kit was in fact a power Mac G5😂

watching this on Windows XP.

fun fact, microsoft used mac g5s for the xbox 360 demos at some events. everything is pretty much a computer they just perform various things either slightly or significantly differently.

The early xbox 360 dev kit would just mac pros with a custom gpu and it was the xbox 360 os

There actually is a way to theoretically run Xbox 360 games on macOS. There is another fork called XeniOS (available for iOS and iPadOS as well through sideloading, with JIT and the required extra RAM entitlements). It’s still highly experimental though, and most games either don’t run well or don’t even boot yet.

4:33 You can actually still get access to a local account on windows 10 or 11 during installation by a) disconnecting from the internet, this lets you use a local account instead of the online account.

One thing I wanted to mention: I wasn’t a huge fan of using AI for basically everything in the iTunes Ping video. I understand the convenience, but for me it takes away some of the “experience factor” and makes the process feel less fun.

I’m also not really a fan of Remotion animations. I tried them, as well as Manim and AI workflows, but they often end up looking quite similar. Manim with Python honestly isn’t that hard if you want more custom animations ;)

Brother, I know this is totally off-topic, but you really look like Pat Cummins, your country's cricketer. 😄

w refresh pull

off topic but i suggest making a video playing all of those games but the pc versions since they are wayyy more graphic intensive plus look way better

I wanna see you run Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005) :)

This is pretty cool, but why not try out something like cachyOS? Vldk drivers for Linux are heaps over windows vulkan drivers with less overhead

These videos made me locate my original iPad 1 form 2010 / 2011 and try to power it up for nostalgia sake. Must’ve been running iOS 5 or lower, at least, but battery is so well and truly dead from not being charged in a stupidly long time, I can’t power it up anymore! 😩

And you can technically upgrade the GPU’s if you find a D500 or D700 board somewhere.

And pretty sure I’ve seen someone add an eGPU board via Thunderbolt too.

Apple hardware is fascinating. I picked up several Apple machines the last time I went to the recycler. A couple of G4 Power Macs, a 2009 Mac Pro, a 2010 iMac and a PowerBook 165c. I look forward to doing things with them the manufacturer never intended. Looks like I'm going to be learning all about NetBSD. The Mac Pro and iMac will get Linux because I want to do actual work with them. I hear the Mac Pro is great for music production. Will be upgrading it as far as possible. I have the dual CPU version. The iMac will make a great workbench PC. It's the top of the line 27" model. Some Apple lifer must have kicked the bucket for me to find all that at the same time. Anything newer would have been sellable for quick cash.

Thanks for the shoutout to bootcampdrivers mate! Looks like you had a lot of fun making this video :)
