Omitting Todd was an INSANE choice.

Todd McFarlane will always be my favorite

Todd Mcfarlane with the big white eyes comic wise just pops out and is sooo nice and nineties
And the goat the nostalgia bait of every kid living in the 2000s Scott Johnson's Spider Sense spiderman🕸️🕷️

McFarlane only got an honorable mention? I'm not a fan of the guy. He's a salesman who's always pitching something. But the dude revolutionized how Spiderman looked/posed and brought in one of the greatest villain (anti-hero).

Honestly, I'm a big fan of John Romita Jr in the 90s, and Marco Checceto, especially for Peter Parker

Love your list, I would've personally included Ross Andru for his great NYC backgrounds. He was an avid photographer of the city and frequently used his own photos as reference, which makes his background super realistic and true to real life NY.

Gil Kane’s Spidey would be high on my list, maybe even number one, but certainly in the top three. I think Kane is woefully underrated and is sadly mostly forgotten today, but few artists have the mastery of the human form that Kane did.

The cover for the Spider-Man wedding issue by John Romita Sr. was on my groomsman cake at my wedding reception. I was surprised how many people stopped to admire it because NO ONE in my family or my wife's is a comic book fan.

Jorge is my favorite artist working. He makes EVERYONE looks incredible

Sal is definitely the most underrated. His run on Spectacular is one of my favorites

Mike Zeck black suit goes so hard and Marco Chechetto lenses are the best Spider-Man lenses

Ditko is the best, not only did he design spidey’s costume but also most of his villains, and spider-man has the best designed rogue’s gallery in comics as a result. Not to mention he also created dr. Strange, the question, and ted kord blue beetle!

Like your picks overall but Totally Agree with Number One. It was quite a transition when Romita replaced Ditko. He made Spiderman and Peter more real looking.

The artists who drew Spider-man in the capcom fighting games also made some banger art

Would love to see Humberto Ramos on the list, his work on Spectacular Spider-Man was groundbreaking

My personal favorite is Erik Larsen. I love McFarlane and Bagley but Larsen is like a mix of them. I love the cover for ASM 345 (yellow Boomerang cover) because of the simplicity of it. It’s like Mark Bagley’s design in Todd McFarlane’s art style

I know he really only did those baby variant things, but I really like Scottie Young’s Spider-Man because of that whimsical style he uses on covers but he also gets those moments where Spider-Man looks awesome

My favourite spidey artist have got to be humberto ramos and leonardo romero, Humberto started out a little weird in his properties but over time he's become one of my favourite spider-man artists drew a lot of slott's run when I was first getting into comics so their might be some nostalgia bias but I think he's really good at portraying motion and Leonard is good and modernising a classic 60s style which I appreciate
