Correction: The 5th gen refresh was for the 2020 model year, not 2019. Also, here's my emanualonline referral link if you'd like to pick up a service manual and help support my channel 🔗 https://shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=510988...

My 96 year old Neighbor has a 2002 CR-V that still looks, and runs like brand new 23 years later. He sits in it daily and revs the piss out of it for 10 minutes or more. He ventures out once a week. Whenever he has guests visit from his country they always use his car. It’s parked right outside my bedroom window and I heard him telling another neighbor he has over 300K miles. Dark Blue and cleans up like new.

My wife purchased a new 2002 CR-V and loved it. It was a darn good vehicle that never gave us any trouble. You have to love that Honda reliability.

We bought a 1999 EX in 2005, and it was a little tank. It was a trouble-free, practical daily driver for years. It became the hand-me-down to our daughter while she was in college and afterwards when she moved out of state. At about 240K miles it developed a bad oil leak and we sold it to the mechanic who said he was going to fix it up for his wife.
Everytime I see one I smile. Great little car.

bought a 1998 CRV in Australia. It was the first car we purchased after getting married.
Drove cross the continent, towing a 3000 pound trailer from Perth to Sydney.
Took me 5 days, and it was great.
Really, nothing to complain about.
Comfortable, big inside, small outside, fuel efficient, great resale value, looked very nice, and handle pretty well on the Beach.

Fun fact: the second-gen CR-V sold in the Philippines had a 10 seater AUV version. This was because SUVs back in 2002 would be slapped with a massive tax if it were not to have more than 5 seats. However, the CR-V did get spared with the option of the second generation having 8 and 10 seater with an extra middle seat in the front in addition to the standard 5 seater. I used to own one of these and it’s a 2006.

I owned a 2000 EX model that almost went 296k miles before the intake valve spring broke, repaired the transmission around 180k miles and never had issues again. Very comfortable interior, no wind noise but definitely road noise. Loved the table. My daughter called the lunchbox because of the square design and roof rails that looked like handles. Definitely, the best vehicle I ever owned. I hope my 2006 Ridgeline with 225k miles currently will beat the CR-V in durability.

As the proud owner of a 5 speed manual 2005 CRV, I've been hoping you'd do this video.
The manuals are definitely hard to find. I had to buy mine sight unseen and have it shipped across the country to me.

3 gen 2007 manual 2.0 here in Europe was phenomenal! No issues at all for almost 200k miles. Sold to my neighbor, he still drives her today and speaks with me too😂😂😂 Loved her, great ride!

Girlfriend had a 99 and we loved it. She then bought a 2003 which I then inherited once we had kids. I miss that thing. It was amazing in the snow and ice.

I got the 2017 CR-V LX model, 120k miles on it. Owned it for 8 years, no issues so far 🤞

I got a 2025 CRV Touring three months ago and I’m enjoying it so far. I’ve driven European cars for decades so it’s a depart from the norm for me. It’s quiet , comfortable and gets the job done quite nicely.

Our 2017 has been amazing. Its runs and drives as will as it did at 30k miles when we bought it. The infotainment screen did die but was covered by warranty. The CRV now has 170k and its a pleasure to own.

My 2006 K-Series (Accord) got me 380,000 miles. Great engine!

I have the 6th generation CRV, 2026 Honda AWD CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid and it is my favorite car I have ever owned, I am 60 years old and when I tell you it is a smooth , quiet, comfortable ride....I am not kidding. I look for simple and practicality, this brings it home for me. I do not need a panoramic roof, 360 camera, ventilated seats....I am just fine. Love it
