The older Sentras referenced back in day when Nissan was legitimately a close competitor with Toyota and Honda.

Yay I'm so excited this new episode is out! Thanks for featuring my car Ollie Nissan in your video in the b12 section Chris! It was a pleasure collaborating and consulting with you on the b12 sentra cars❤!

I LOVE these 1 hour videos on the entire history of a model, especially with your humour. This has quickly become one of my favourite youtube channels! Keep up the good work.

I had a 2023 Sentra as a rental car for a trip to Florida last December. I REALLY hoped I wouldn’t get a Sentra because [hello, this is Nissan we’re talking about here] and, being a rental, people generally aren’t careful with them. In spite of that, it was not all bad. The seats were very comfortable, especially for a modern car. And I somehow managed 44 MPG even though I wasn’t even trying. The CVT, to no one’s surprise, was useless for on-ramps. The adaptive cruise control actually brakes gently unlike Toyota’s system that feels like you are brake checking yourself. The only issue I had with it was the last hour of the drive back the stereo did not feel like having my phone connected to it

Man, manufacturers putting HVAC controls into touchscreens is one of the most frustrating and backwards modern car trends I swear to god. Who genuinely thinks that sort of thing is a good idea?! Lmao

I owned a 2001 Sentra SE. Best car I ever owned. Dark green, had a sunroof, 4 spd automatic. Speedy and handled like a dream, but still a practical economy car. Wish I still had it.

I can't believe I just sat and watched a full 1h 17m of Nissan Sentra. It was totally worth it, great video!

Any generation of the Sentra with a SER badge is a super fun car for anyone who likes driving. They were always light, had enough power, handled and stopped well. Like a Miata, it won't bow your socks off but you will smile if you know how to have fun.

Trust me, I truly appreciate your videos.  "We were there, and these cars were part of our lives."  And I REALLY enjoy the humor and production values you add to your videos.  Well done -- keep up the good work!

That Sentra (1982) hatchback actually looks really cool.

Never owned one myself, but man, I had a TON of friends with every model from B11-B15 in 2001-2002. Every single one was driven hard, and I don't recall any of them ever offering up a serious problem. These things were EVERYWHERE in my little town. Definitely a soft spot for the nameplate for me. They'd still be everywhere if people hadn't soured on the CVT (i.e. not servicing them) I for one, love the look of the 8th gens. Very clean design. Only wish I could get a manual in one.

I truly don't understand how you don't have more subscribers. Great content, and thank you for not using A.I. in your videos.

The 8th gen is actual great for new drivers and old people. When we bought one for our mom, there wasn’t another $26k car on the market that was stylish, easy to use, had 360 camera, emergency braking forward and reverse, and full of features like a luxury sedan.  For the common driver, this car was perfect for them.

Can you do the Toyota Camry next

Greetings from the UK. Your videos are awesome, absolutely love them. Best things on the net

I always thought the Sentra name was an abbreviation of "SENsible, no exTRA"

B17 driver here. Somehow still on my first transmission. Thanks for the video!

I love your channel so much you got me to watch an hour an 15 minutes on the Nissam Sentra.

Highlights for me:
Obviously the B13 SE-R is the goat but the whole B13 line is great.
I've driven a few B15 SER SpecV and they are a riot, first two gears are wheelspin and Rev limiter (iirc peak power was 6000 and Rev limit was 6200rpm)
B16 SpecV are rare and cool
I drove a Sentra Nismo once and it was surprisingly fun. I think the mr16ddt is a renault motor. It was fast.

Sleeper hit is that B14 SE limited edition with the sr20de, 5 speed, rear disc's and LSD. Looks good too.

Great video!

Love this channel already. The cars I remember growing up in the 80's & 90's, BRINGS BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES WHEN THEY WERE NEW!!!

These videos are fantastic! Keep it up!
