Noooo, don’t fade out the lore speculation, that’s my favourite part!

41:57 Because Sheogorath is voiced by Jeff Baker in Morrowind and he also voiced Haskill in the Shivering Isles, I like to imagine that Sheogorath was having Haskill take his calls pretending to be him.

Nothing is more satisfying in Morrowind than entering some random cave and coming across an absurdly powerful item.

Sending the viewers after the Battlespire fans was actually a ploy to protect the 2 remaining Redguard fans from becoming extinct.

Honestly, the Temple recognizing Dagoth Ur as a god makes total sense given their lack of other good options. They can either accept his divinity, letting them say "Our three good gods hold back Dagoth Ur, an evil god, but they can't permanently kill him because, like them, he's immortal and divine", or deny his divinity, which leaves them with either the far less flattering "Our three gods can't defeat a single mortal, but they still totally deserve your worship and respect" or the inconvenient question raising "Dagoth Ur isn't a true god, he stole divinity from... well, that's unimportant, but he has powers equivalent to a god and that's why the Tribunal can't kill him". The only other option that doesn't paint the Tribunal as impotent would be to say Dagoth Ur got his godlike power from the House of Troubles, but that would come with the risk of pissing off four powerful daedric princes who might not be happy to have everything Dagoth Ur does attributed to them, and the Temple is struggling enough without making even more enemies. Thus, adding "Dagoth Ur is a god" to the doctrine was the least bad option.

That fact that you didn't call your character Harrison Fjord is a crime that should be reported to the guards immediately.

Eltonbrand is a reference to the basketball player, Elton Brand. The Shashev's Key quest is also reference to coach of the Blue Devils, Mike Krzyzewski. And yes, our favorite store to get scrolls of Icarian Flight, Tarhiel, is also a reference to a basketball team, the Tar Heels. All thanks to the dev Mark Nelson, who implimented the whole thing for us to enjoy.

They do pay taxes in Seyda Neen… or at least they used to until someone killed the tax collector

It's cool how most of these artifacts are just kind of...lying around in unmarked locations with no quests associated with them. Really adds to the surprise and exploration in Morrowind.

You'll be stunned to know that building is not called Hlaalu Manor. It's Hlaalo Manor. Morrowind Mandela Effect.

"The glory of setting up your own rules is that you can change them retroactively so you never broke them"

Is this Chim?

What I love the most about the temple questline is how youre supposed to offer a longsword to that dremora to follow in the steps of vivec but its such a common occurrence that theres a chest full of longswords for the convenience of pilgrims. Like the process is borderline industrialized so the dremora spends god knows how long standing there, going "gee thanks" and giving a thumbs up

30:02 The scroll of moonwalker: convenient for when you need to escape from Annie, if she is okay.

as someone with a mesopotamian hyperfixation 10:37 was a moment of sweet sweet vindication for me walking around morrowind going 😮👉 at every sumerian and akkadian name i saw

fun fact- that wise woman sinnammu that you have to escort to the daedric shrine has TWO god names, sin and nammu!

@vennin7781 1 year ago

Just a tip from someone who always plays Morrowind as a summoner. Enemies will always attack whoever they have the highest chance of hitting first with melee weapons. Its why you were always attacked first until your Dremora's fatigue was low.

0:22 the cam has me ROLLING. From the irl flashbang to him physically recoiling like he’s the one getting hit. 10/10 I’m hyped to watch this

It's kind of incredible how much the Bluetooth anecdote sounded exactly like the TES lore tangents that I can never tell whether or not they're completely made up.
