training a magic skill from 0 to 1 for a single gold coin at a trainer is so funny.
"if you give me a coin I'll tell you a secret."
*gives coin*
"you're not going to believe this... but magic is real."
*your mysticism has increased to 1*

the one character to whom the phrase "i've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than you" actually applies

Going out into public and instantly losing the will to live is relatable.

@ikarus1111a 2 years ago

Would be funny to see you silent, stuck in the same place with 0 willpower for 30 seconds and then saying "no you cant"

@artsyhoodies 2 years ago

It's kind of funny that 1 willpower is what's needed to get started. Man is literally sheer will.

You can be weak, unintelligent, and as slow as a sloth in molasses.
But if you get popular enough, a more popular and much older celebrity will take interest in your talents.
A tale as old as the television.

Taking one step outside and instantly collapsing to the ground is a very relatable feeling, perhaps I too have 0 in all skills and attributes

I imagine training Blok from 0 to 1 to be like:
"Okay, conceptualize the idea of intercepting an attack with a shield or weapon, honestly i feel bad about even taking money for this, so I´ll take nominal fee of 1 septim"

-"Master, I found the Staff of Magnus in our storeroom, don't you think that there's a more proper place to hide such a powerful artefact?"
-mumbling
-"I will do as you say, and shove it up the cave system of Assu, that's a splendid idea, Master"
-"Well, that works too"

Me when I get my ass kicked at the bar: "Hah! You FOOL, you've merely leveled my unarmored skill!!"

It always infuriated me that Skyrim required a perk to sell stolen spoons to any vendor. You’re telling me I need to get a perk to NOT randomly yell out “I STOLE THIS”? What happened to being a silent protagonist?

The RP intro is cute, managing to justify both the challenge run and how the player knows almost everything about Morrowind

Lorkhan: so nerevarine, you have finally achieved CHIM and Amaranth, how will you use your divine power!?

Nerevarine: yeets himself repeatedly into a mountainside to save a 10 minute walk

Lorkhan: what a grand and intoxicating innocence

“Fighting off crabs and worms. College, am I right?”
I found that way too funny lmao

Drakes, Septims, and gold are the same thing. The Imperial gold coin has a dragon emblem on one side (the drake) and a portrait of the emperor on the other side (the Septim).

41:07 This is called being "digitigrade"! All birds and many mammals are digitigrade - you'll notice that dogs and cats have this same structure but less dramatic than most birds. It's generally faster than the alternative (plantigrade, where your heels touch the ground). I think birds are just kinda stuck that way evolutionarily, even if they don't run anymore because it evolved a long time ago in the theropod dinosaurs that they evolved from. Most lizards, however, are plantigrade so it probably makes more sense for argonians to have flat feet, and more for khajiit to have the "backwards knees" like they also do in Morrowind.

“That’s not bad. Never gonna use it.” Me in every rpg ever, lol.

32:07 Fun fact, the 'Smith' of Vvardenfell (excluding Great House names, which are very common in ESO with Hlaalu alone having 31) is Sadri, with 20 total across all games. In Morrowind specifically, it's Andrano with 13.

Sadri is interesting because it's a Dunmeris word we actually have a translation for - mushroom (from Sadrith Mora, 'Mushroom Forest'). Is it possible that mushroom farmers were a common enough occupation for the name to have spread? Is it a Telvanni thing? Do Telvanni just fuck like champions? We may never know.

"That's a weird ass fish" Ok brain, time to guess what's underwater in the moment before I glance over to my other monitor. Sure wasn't expecting to see one of those waddling away.
