LOVEBITES got me AGAIN. 😳🔥🤘

Holy War was absolutely ridiculous live. Every time I come back to this band, they somehow find another way to impress me.

What should be LOVEBITES reaction #4 on the channel? 👀👇

This popular track is a staple of the band's LIVE setlists

"I'm just stunned." Trust me, I have seen them 4 times so far. Being stunned by them doesn't really ever go away, even when you're standing right there in front of them and know what to expect. If anything, you're even more stunned by them in person. They're amazing!

This is LOVEBITES with their original bassist Miho, she was co-founder and leader of LOVEBITES from 2016 to 2021. She left the band for personal reasons. She was replaced by a 20 year old bassist named Fami in 2022. Fami was in all the other LOVEBITES videos you saw.

Paranoia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTRQdyyFTag, Dissonance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhNo7qQ1AVQ, Where's Identity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2Y_s9I8fVA, Reaper's Lullaby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxM63Bcmyr8

Song was brand new at this 2020 show, on their 3rd album Electric Pentagram. Lyrics credited to the entire band, music by Mao(ex Lightbringer keyboardist that has worked with them a lot). 2nd song on the album, and on the setlist here. This is a common intro to the band song, you can see why with the guitar solos, I love the little bass run near the end of that. First video you've done where you got to see original bassist Miho, of course you've heard her back in the day with the few songs you had previously heard. Yeah Haruna is a beast behind the kit. For more live, try  "Break the Wall" from this show, or "Raise Some Hell" the Official Live Video from "No More Tragedy".

Elite musicianship.

The fan posted Holy War from the Hellfest DVD is fire. Not as refined, but even higher energy than this.

Holy War has climbed the ranks joining my all-time favorite songs since discovering LOVEBITES in 2023. I have been fortunate to hear it played live 3 times now. Asami never fails to stun me with her vocal performance of this difficult song!

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics & credits:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters

There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers

Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore

SOLO: midori

Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters

Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal

What do we live for？What do we fight for, tonight？
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

SOLO: miyako / midori / both

Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers

Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore

What do we live for？What do we fight for, tonight？
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
