This is mesmerizing.

"Dystopia Symphony" is a seamless and very innovative blend of prog/neoclassical metal/symphonic/speed-power metal/and a bit of thrash thrown in. This track exemplifies the compositional & arrangement prowess of Miyako (virtuoso lead guitarist & pianist at stage left adjacent to the piano). She composed this song as a tribute to Beethoven when the maestro was coming to terms with his hearing loss. In this track, you can clearly hear the Beethoven motifs from the 1st & 3rd movements of "Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 27, No. 2" (aka "Moonlight Sonata") and "Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13" (aka "Sonata Pathétique"). In the 1st part of Miyako's piano intro, she performed the 1st movement of "Moonlight Sonata", and in the 2nd part of her intro (at 1:45 in your video), she seamlessly integrated a few measures (towards the end) of the 3rd movement

The pianist/guitarist with black hair, Miyako, is a classically trained pianist, and she composed the music for Dystopia Symphony as her homage to Ludwig van Beethoven, one of her favourite composers. It is inspired by the practical and emotional struggles he had due to the progressive loss of his hearing starting when he was still only in his twenties. By his mid forties he was almost completely deaf, despite which he is considered one of the greatest composers of all time.
I think very few heavy metal bands could equal this performance, Lovebites are able to make the difficult seem easy. Every member is a top tier musician who would be the stand out member in any other band  🐺

This band is overloaded with insane talent, proof is this very video. Insane talent, total dedication to their music, each other and their fanbase(Wolfpack) and the relentless pursuit of perfection equals the unique band with a diverse unique sound. Petite women who wear their femininity proudly but turn into metal queens on stage. The true Beasts from the East that are finally getting what their have deserved as once 2017. You will find they always surprise but never ever disappoint.

The name of the band came from a Halestorm song Love Bites (So Do I). Take the meaning as you wish. I think when you hear Lovebites for the first time you're bitten and fall in love with them. For a song with deep meaning check out

The drummer's name is Haruna. She's a powerhouse back there. They call her "Little Big Engine." The ripped guitarist you mention is Midori. "Crazy Shredder." She also competes in fitness and bodybuilding contests. For the others, there's Fami on bass (Shining Finger), Asami on vocals (The One and Only Voice), and then you have Miyako on piano and guitar (The Golden Touch). Nicknames they refer to themselves as.

The name "LOVEBITES" comes from the song (Love Bites) (and so do I) by the band "HALESTORM"!!!!! Thank you for what you do!!!!!

Actually the name for the Band came from a song Asami sang in their first practice after they selected her as their vocalist. She sangt the Halestorm song Love Bites (and so do I) . and the band liked it so much they decided to rename the band frop Powerslaves to LOVEBITES. The rest is LOVEBITES history.  :0)

Paramount song, dealing with Beethoven's "later" years, wavering between financial and musical success (on the one side) and his progressing deafness which tended to drive him mad (on the other side).

Heavy subject matter, deafness, especially for professional musicians. "What, it that happened to me?" LOVEBITES made it, to deal with that in this song impressively. Not a lot of smiles here, but we can guess why.

She's a master piano player i have seen several of her concerts

I am a 51 Year old guy who has listened to metal since I was 10 and this is indeed the most amazing band I have heard in decades.  There are a lot of live songs to unpack. They are unique.

👑🎤Asami👑: "Dystopia Symphony" was based on Beethoven's "Pathetique," and we built the song into a suite-like piece from there.
💚🎸Midori💚: This is probably the first time we've done something this heavily focused on progressive rock.😈

The synchronized playing of M(Midori)&M(Miyako) in the solo guitar section clearly indicates that it is based on the "Pathétique."
And furthermore, the third movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata is performed on the piano by Miyako—appearing both during the intro, where she plays while resting the guitar on her lap, and later, following the dissolution of her piano duo with Asami.
In this song, as usual, Miyako mainly played piano and lead guitar, switching between them many times. However, during the guitar solo, vocalist Asami played the piano, followed by a piano duet between Miyako and Asami, after which Miyako finished her piano part and returned to playing lead guitar.
All members can play the piano.
In addition to their own instruments, they can also play multiple other instruments such as drums, bass guitar, electric organ, and violin.

Yes, she also composed and arranged it, combining classical music and metal by her out-of-this-world magic🧚.  So many Beethoven's  phrases and themes interweaving and melting with her own! She is an absolute musical genius to write and perform such songS, true 21th century Mozart. And it's a real mini-Symphony by structure, and it's complex and multi layered. It's perfect in musicianship, art of composition and songwriting, performing, visuals.
