Fair enough, but for me shovel knight will always hold a special place in my heart. Not just the main campaign but plague, spectre, and king knights campaign all come together to make a great story and fantastic game imo.

I absolutely love this and your Hat in Time video. You balance humor and analysis briliantly. I was genuinely shocked to see that there’s only 5 videos on your channel. Your videoes are so good, I thought you were a big Youtuber!

Great video, love the comedy style and your timing+editing is on point. Only a personal thing, I do wish you slowed down the humor just a little in order to let the game's tone breathe, namely at the end of the tower of fate section.

That said, I understand not loving the game. Shovel Knight/ their campaigns usually get better as you play it more and more and become more experienced. It's a semblance of the NES hard platformer, where if your execution and knowledge is not on point, you're going to die. All of the shovel knight campaigns are usually best enjoyed on repeat playthroughs, where you can start truly learning the game and experiment.

Also that said,the stuff about the relics? The devs stated that they wanted them to be optional, something you can use if you'd like, but don't have to go out of your way to get. They're more like optional tools that you can use, but can greatly enhance+speed up your experience if you know what to do with them.

That said, I'd highly recommend playing some of the other campaigns as well in the trove because they feel vastly different in both tone and gameplay. I have a personal bias for specter of torment myself.
