Today we took a few minutes to get our sweet potatoes out of the raised beds. They are fully ready to be picked and we need to start preparing for a winter garden. #gardening

Upstate NY zone 5b--and we'll take some of that heat off y'all--we're barely in the low 60's during the day, dipping in the low 50's, high 40's at night. What variety sweet potato did you grow? We're growing Georgia jets, beauregard, Carolina ruby, O'Henry, and Centenniel. Our jets are actually ready to harvest, the others are a longer-season variety for our growing zone. Nice harvest!
