My husband is a big pie eater. I occasionally eat them. We’ve tried just about every supermarket pie and don’t rate them. We recently found a local butcher who makes and bakes their own pies. Unbelievable taste, quality and value. I wholeheartedly support your comment about supporting local businesses.  👍

The meat in the farmshop pie looked outstanding!

The M&S pie appears to have more water in it and costs 18.7p per 10 grams.  The Farmshop pie costs 13.4p per 10 grams.

In shock news, a homemade pie is better than a factory made pie!

Well done, Brown's Farmshop!

You can't beat a farm or butchers pie!
A fiver is far too much for a supermarket pie.
Thanks for another honest review 💜💜💜

we love farm shops and the quality is exceptional and yes, please support your local businesses during these hard times.

You love your pies and supporting your local farmshop. Tasty i bet seconds anyone.

I do miss a good ol british pie, hard to find them here in Spain. Love a steak and kidney pie with some baked beans❤

"Please support your local" - spot on! Thanks for an interesting video. Hoping you can do more local produce videos soon.

You can't beat a good pie , mash and mushy peas . I'd go with a Farm Shop all day long , but the M&S looked good .

Cheers Gaz, for taking us out with you to get those pies. Fresh farm pies are always going to be excellent. But to give M&S their due that pie looks beautiful. Much appreciated once again my friend.

I'm stunned fella, hearing them BMW indicators. 😆 Cheers for the update and you can't beat a farm shop pie. 👍

Hi Gareth, I find the best way to reheat butchers pies is to place the pie in an oven proof dish that is just bigger than the pie. Place the pie still in the foil in the dish, then put boiling water half way up the pie foil. Cover the dish with tinfoil and put in the oven from cold until it reaches 200c. Takes about 10 mins. Then, take foil off, empty water out and then let the top crisp for 5 mins. Turnout lovely and don't dry out.

I buy Steak pies from a stall who regularly appears at a car boot sale I go to. £2.50 per pie. It is quite simply the best steak pie I have ever had.

Hi, the M&S pie looked good but I still think the farm pie will have a far better flavour and is not ultra processed. I make all the pies we eat myself, that way I know what goes in them. Thank you for the review, it was very interesting and fun to watch.

Well done for supporting local business and farmers xxx

Won’t find a better pie than browns mate. Absolutely fantastic! Well worth the money

Awe aye a like a Pie

I love me some pies, cream pies are my favourite

It would have been interesting to see the relative weights of the actual steak in the two pies, the Farm shop pie appeared to have far more than the M&S one.
