I'm still using Studio One 5 Pro and I love it, but knowing I can upgrade for such a bargain price is really cool!! I'll probably do it soon

I bought the Faderport for 180 dollars and it included the full license to Studio Pro which recently became Fender Studio Pro.

Excellent point made at the end regarding computer compatibility with software.
The reason I’m watching this video is due to my beloved Focusrite Sapphire pro 40 FireWire not being compatible with modern Apple devices.
I’m considering upgrading to the quantum hd8 with GAS it comes with Studio One Pro.
Like you I’ve had my first interface, audiobox usb with studio one artist since the early 2010’s and due to my unforeseen circumstances with Apple compatibility, am back using the ole reliable 2 channel interface.
Thank you for the advice and speaking to the options available.

I got a perpetual license for FREE when i purchased my faderport 16 last year! The faderport is compatible with multiple different DAWs so if me and Fender Pro dont work out i can switch to another software.

Amazing tips, this is exactly what I was looking for. Also, good tip on making a 'dumb' device for a locked-in experience...that would be ideal in this day and age where companies seem to want you to own nothing.

Buy the hardware get it free. But subscription is the best choice since you get a lot more

Why do I have to set the beat duration as well as of the time signature in fender pro studio ? It seems intuitive that the time signature would dictate what the metronome does, it seems like just an added step. Is there a way to avoid having to do this? Thank you!

Great vieo, Thanks Chris!

Thanks you! If I have a 6-month one-pro studio license, what would the price be for a full fender studio license?

@eyocs_ 6 months ago

You can also get the faderport for 200 and get a full Studio Pro 8 license. Not some months only!

Of course I bought the LT4 and the perpetual at the same time, paying full price, $200, for each....like a schmuck lol

Very informative. Like to add one thing regarding older versions on newer equipment. As you said Presonus/Fender may no longer support it (troubleshooting, etc) but that doesn't mean it wont work. Chances are it will work fine but don't expect help.

@Sford-wy7el 6 months ago

Chris. I have a presonus studio live series 3 mixer. Which Joe Gilder suggested that I get 7 years ago. I still struggle with it. Any suggestions? Thx.

Hi, can you help me please? I got Studio 8 for my guitar. I downloaded all software with Ampire. I can hear the guitar in clean mode when plugged into device but can't hear guitar amps etc when I pull in the amps into the current song bar. Any ideas?
