Everyone should buy a CB Radio  to speak freely and organise meetups ..NO IP ADDRESS/the only form of communication that's free speech is used..👍

I hadn't been on the CB in decades but on a whim bought a President George.  I realized how much I missed the CB.  I have done Amateur Radio for years but there is something about CB that is just fun.

CB is making more of a comeback because more are now realising how crucial things like CB Radio are if in emergencies like The Grid goes down where Internet and Mobile Phones become useless.

Well alive here in Australia as well, no where near as busy as it was back in the day but plenty of signals around. Thanks for the video.

Wow.. I never hear anyone north of Lewes from Brighton! Amazing contact from Aberdeen. Nicely done

Wow..I saw this and couldn't believe it..I was in my 20s when I went on cb..im now in my 60s and its still going THATS GREAT NEWS 😊

Blast from the past
I loved cb in the early 80s in Sheffield. First rig I had was a fidelity 1000 absolutely rubbish but got me into it for years. Great fun.
My angle was streetguide

We all need a little shed. A place to indulge in your dreams 😊

I subscribed to this video because I'm a part of a CB radio fan club.

Been watching YT channels about CB radio, and I have a spark on an interestforming in getting back into CB now i have more time. I was on way back in the late 70's and (AM) was there for the great 27/81 switch on.Probably get a handheld just to see/hear if anyone on in my area before getting something better

Ecactly why all went to Amature radio (all as in the first CB radio operators in the UK. Circa 1978-1985)

Wow! Back in the early 80s when I started, you were lucky to get 5 to 10 miles, maybe more on weekend night time networks.

i havnt been on the cb since 1990's but had great times using one in the 80's and 90's my handle was blue boy from the walled city (chester) back then great times

Brilliant..! Thank You so much.

Great Video,  getting back on the CB after 35 years.  😊😊 ❤ I agree you need more watts now.

Nice video. I find having a mobile station better than a base station these days. That's because there is so much intereference now and with the mobile I can drive somewhere where it's a bit more radio quiet.

Oh yes can remember when you needed a lic back in the 1960s love the older radios tx ranger with extras unden Washington with extra with a foot warmer

That radio was an excellent deal. In the US the same one used can run up to $200 for just the radio.

I was on cb back in the 80s and then again during lockdown, but I sold everything and now brought a thunderpole t-x and a orbital magmount for the car, I've got about 20 miles on a quick test.
I live in Laindon essex,  and I find Langdon hills a good place to go

Congratulations fron Rio grande do sul  South Brazil.
