My first ever CB back in 1989/1990 when I was 10 years old was a Binatone Route 66. I paid £35 for it with a PSU and a mag mount.

Had a Route 66 brand new I can still remember the smell when I first turned it on ... I was about 13 ..

Thats a good investment!
If you fimd a matching knob or someone can 3d print a round knob, it would even look  better

"you broke my needle , Kate" well she is a Needlebender lol  Always a pleasure to hear you on the band here in the states. 73

Nice to hear you back Kate I've missed you're vids.

Blast from the past. My friends and I used CB radio in the late 70s early 80s and I remember this model being available on the black market and quite popular too. 40+ years later and there it is - still doing it's job!

Great video Kate!Love the old rig you got.The KP-O mics are great.I have had one on my base and mobile for a couple years with great audio reports.Always enjoy your vids!73 From VT👋🏻👋🏻

21:17 Wow $13.41in US dollars and it seems to be working well, great find from the boot fair! Skip is not so good right now, hopefully it will pick back up in the fall! Nice video, 73 God Speed!

Nice! What a steal! I also use a 503 but it's had the HD kit put in! 🙌

I had a CB radio when it was all the rage it was brilliant happy days 🎉🎉🎉

I’m very impressed in that price Kate like you said I’d pay for that for the CRT 9900. Nothing wrong with a good bargain.. I’ve been enjoying your handheld SSB. Take care of yourself and yours.🇬🇧💯👍

Great gear, 9900 is great! You sure are putting out some "heat" with your amp!  Price is a steal! Don't forget to open the windows, let the heat out...😂
