We raise our boys to be tough.
You know the saying "if Chuck Norris was any tougher, he would have been South African".

Merica could never😂😂 not enough commerical breaks

Our  young ones play barefoot on frosty grass before school in winter... it is in our blood♥

In South Africa boys start playing rugby at 7 and in the 9 provinces (kind of like us states) there are selectors.
They attend primary school (no middle schools) games looking for talent.
Each province select a team of 12/13 year old's to play an annual U13 tournament.
Top rugby high schools coaches offer bursaries to the best juniors on display.
The same thing happens in high schools with selectors selecting a provincial senior U18 team.
At this point National selectors will select a junior U19 national A and B teams who will compete to play for selection for the national team.
Annually the U19 and U20 teams play internationals against teams from New Zealand, Australia, England, France, and other top ranked boys teams.
Note although South Africa is behind and trying to catch up in women's rugby.
It's a growing female sport now with clubs and universities female programs, with a league of teams playing one another.
More school girl rugby is needed desperately. Our female team did make the quarter finals in the last women's World Cup.

On school boy rugby in America there are schools that offer rugby but they are few and far between.
More collages have Rugby programs and NRL (National Rugby League) and women's rugby is active.
Note American Football and the school coaches strongly resist rugby programs as they know it will drain there talent pools.

One last point Rugby instills respect, humility, and honour as a foundation of the sport ethos. These lesson's lead to better rounded men.

Any South African rugby we watch 😂🇿🇦

In South Africa, chicken is a vegetable, the only part of a sheep we dont eat is chicken and salads dont win scrums. Thats the nutrition covered, the religion is Rugby.

These are most definitely teenagers. The boys start playing at the age of 6 already!

They are naturally big people.

South African school rugby id dynamic

15:30 that's The Tank Ethan Adams.. future looking bright for SA Rugby👊💯🔥🔥🔥

You can just see that some of those grounds are HARD, no soft landing.

The thing about rugby is that it cater for all body shapes. From the big and apparent overweight boys as props or the small, skinny boy as no 9 or scrumhalve or the tall boys as locks.

3:40 The commentator just said "Out as a candle." 😂😂😂

"uit soos n kerse" out like a candle !

That Grey college boy called Mgedezi is going far

Our Rugby or rugby in general is a game of " poetry in motion". It's hard, fast and moving.

"And he is still reaching for Jesus?" What the fuck, lmao🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣

South Africa will be playing New Zealand in the USA later this year as part of their rivalry and also to promote rugby more in the USA.
