And just like that… it’s time to head home! 🇫🇷❤️

We finish our final day at Camping La Duliaise before packing up the caravan and making the four-hour journey north to Camping Vivier aux Carps — a Caravan and Motorhome Club affiliated site that we booked literally just a couple of days before!

What a little find it was. A lovely site, just a couple of hours from Calais, and one we’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to break up the journey before catching the ferry. We spent the afternoon and evening there before an early start the next morning, heading up to Calais, getting on the boat and finally making our way home. 🇫🇷⛴️🇬🇧

This trip has honestly been unbelievable. We’ve made some incredible memories, explored so many amazing places and, most importantly, spent it with some of the most fantastic people — our brilliant friends, the Marshalls. ❤️

It definitely wasn’t without its mishaps, illness and a few dramas along the way 😂 but that’s all part of the adventure, isn’t it?

Would we do it all again? Absolutely.

We already can’t wait for our next European adventure next year… but where will it take us? 👀🌍

Thank you for inspiring us all with this series. Ollie’s totally right about the memory making now. I’ve put aside an expensive hobby to caravan around with my young family; best decision ever made. Keep up the good work

The one thing that stood out by far with your holiday is your frienship with Aron and Stacy and vice versa,each of you looked after one another and in a sence thats a huge relief to have being abroad,so dispite the ups and downs well done to both by sticking by each other.

I absolutely agree with Olly at the end.
I've recently lost my mum on the 30th July so my caravan trips have been put on hold.
But as he said things don't matter but family time - making memories do matter - keep doing what your doing x

Hi Ollie. We very much enjoyed watching you and your friends in France, I’m only sorry you had some bad luck. Don’t let it put you off, caravaning in France is the best. We only have a little Basecamp 2, but we usually use the tunnel. We saved lots of miles on my 10 year old Disco and lots of fuel this year by taking the ferry to Santander. We then went to Carcassonne and went up through the Dordogne and eventually up to Roscof, it took 7 weeks. It was a good way of getting to the south. My other recommendation is Luxembourg, best roads in Europe and free public transport of all. All the best, Shaun and Helen, Somerset

Love the sentiment at the end. Absolutely spot on. We have pushed back on unnecessary luxuries, so to speak, and have gone all in on touring when our seasonal ends. We are so excited to make new memories with the kids

Great Vid guys. I bought a motorhome last year. We went straight off to Barcelona with some great stops in france. This year we visited some new sites and old sites in France and done 5 nights in Venice.
Venice was great we stayed at Camping Serenissima but had 3 days in Venice in a Airbnb. We love the Motorhome lifestyle and couldnt reccomend it enough to everyone.
Oh on the way back from Venice we done 4 nights at Lake Annercy. Absolutley amazing.

Hi guys what you were saying at the end of your video I totally get , I’m a lorry driver, have been for 28 years, up and down the U.K. week in week out , away from home 6 days a week , missing my daughter growing up etc , but that’s how I’ve got my Range Rover sport , don’t smoke , don’t go out at weekends , we started following you because we are thinking of buying a caravan, but it’s something we don’t want to rush into . Looks like you had a great time out there 👍

Hi both, firstly just a fun fact, 90% of land rovers sold are still on the road, the other 10% made it home😂, only joking, i watch your vlogs on my wifes channel on the big tv, we have thoroughly enjoyed your france trip, your both very down to earth and honest, we also watch the marshalls, which u both compliment each other. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed following along with your beautiful family on this epic trip; thanks for sharing. You’re definitely our favourites. Such a lovely family. Ollie had me in tears at the end of this with his comments about making precious memories. It’s so the true. We don’t go anywhere in our caravan (electric car buyers remorse), and always go to the same site where we store it; but we’re living vicariously through you on YouTube 😂 so thanks for that. All my family enjoyed watching your vlogs, We have been to both Spain and France with our caravan and yes its a long way to go but worth it, ( if it helps we tell our kids being bored is a good life skill 😂) We also tow with a Discovery and didnt put a foot wrong tremendous towing cars. As it was your first trip you might find either Yelloh village or Sandaya campsites useful both great for families and young kids especially its what we use and both parents and kids love them,

Hi guys. Great vid. Loved the end, when ye where speaking about, how ye worked hard for this life. I have 2 jobs and my hubby works as well. We have a campervan. Best decision ever. Our youngest is 19, so we head away now on our own, but miss when our 3 girls where young. We went to Scotland in July. Loved it. Safe travels and glad I found ye. Following Stacy and Aaron also.

We did our first trip with our caravan this year to France for 12 weeks ( we are retired ) absolutely loved it. Swapped the van when we got back end of July to a 2 berth, and already planning next years foray into France again ! We will only go to one of the sites again, a firm favourite of the trip, but never tend to go back to the same place twice. We always think it might not be as good 2nd time around. Loved watching your vlogs in France, missed a couple of them as I lost all my YT whilst away and couldn’t get it sorted until we arrived home. Your kids will have the best memories, our kids always say they remember the holidays we took overseas and they are both in their 40’s now ! Ooh I’m old ! 😂
