It was good just rushed and leaned too much into the nostalgia factor

I’m starting to realize that these new actors don’t have the advantage of being on Disney Channel. So we don’t know them, the movie just doesn’t hit as hard as before. Viewers were familiar with actors from seeing them on so many different shows and episodes.

Imagine watching all of the camp rock movies for the first time. By the time you're watching camp rock 3 you'll be wondering why this movie has the same intro song as the one before it and why do they use so many songs from the previous movies.

The biggest weakness is definitely the pacing. They should have went the High School Musical route and went with a series. That would’ve allowed time for the story to breathe and rotate the spotlight amongst the ensemble.
The music isn’t bad per se, it’s just more geared towards gen alpha/ youngest gen Z sensibilities. One Beat Away was good but the non-diagenetic singing threw me off.

the trailer made the movie look SO much better than it was 😭

The fact that in the last 2 weeks I learned that 2 iconic Disney couples Mitchie and Shane and Mason and Alex are not together is insane they have broken up most of the couples from my childhood

Camp Rock 3 songwriters attempted to copy Highschool Musical The Musical The Series w/o fully understanding why new & renditions songs clicks

I feel like Camp Rock 3 could have been what Camp Rock 2 tried to play around with, which is having the campers from the first movie teach and be counselors. This could have gotten nearly every character back as alumni in a sort of Glee way (If you watched Glee past season 3 you know how much they loved bringing old characters back). I get Demi is a big star, but Mitchie being a guest star judge or teacher could have been a really nice moment in the final act. It's not just about "oh my gosh this famous person is here", but about how much Camp Rock meant to her and she's able to pass the torch to everyone there. I also felt like this movie could have benefited from not trying to have 5 main characters and focusing more on camp life. Other than that, I really did think the movie was pretty much okay. Out of all the Disney franchises, I think Camp Rock can get away with a revival because outside of the cast, the location is what's most important. You couldn't get away with a High School Musical 4 because the movies centered around Troy and his friends, and I doubt we'd get a movie focused on them as adults.

I loved it..i love rosie more then sage tho..rosies song was so cool and good

It was good, I enjoyed it.

Music 10, Outfits 10 Acting cringey WE’RE BACK BABY

I watched a few minutes and I couldn’t continue, but my only complaint is that I feel like I saw the Jonas brothers and Demi lovato not exactly connect 3 and mitchie, I guess it’s because of the styling but honestly Demi cameo seemed last minute I guess they heard the backlash and decided to add one

I’m ashamed to admit this was my exact reaction as well 😂

To me it was alright.

I don't mind spin-offs focusing on new characters as long as the story makes sense and its entertaining. I can go either way.

The main complaints people have with this film is not because it's bad, it's more of a.."who is this for?" situation.
Cause this movie obviously have nostalgic moments, but those moments are for people who grew up with disney channel back in 2000s, and kids, who is a main demographic of this film, would not know the references.
So this movie is in the weird place where, it gained attraction towards people who grew up with camp rock films, but honestly who will watch this? cause..the dialogues and story IS still targeted towards kids. But this movie is leaning too much towards the nostalgic factors, which non of the kids nowadays would know.
And honestly it's sad to see that kids nowadays just can't have nice NEW stuff. I wanted this film to be a stand alone, good film, cause that's why they brought up new actors to play new characters for the new generation, right? But no, they were keep playing off of nostalgia and it's just..sad.

Also people switching up on Milo casted as Flynn is because he is a zionist.
Now, this one is a bit tricky, but it is quite disappointing how he never showed any sympathy towards all the kids who are in Palastines in Gaza, but only showed sympathy towards people in Israel.
And he grew up in a Jewish family. That's why people are saying he is a zionist.
We would never fully know his opinion towards this, but it IS disappointing nonetheless.

I did not like it at all, but I'm glad some people enjoyed it!

6:59 honestly doesn't see him as bad boy, saw him as shy guy who isolates himself from people
