Mike Shinoda is so underrated....he's the main songwriter, he raps, he sings, he plays guitar and piano....he's like a musical Swiss army knife that any band would be blessed to have.

Rest In Peace Chester! You will always be a legend!!

Dude: the fusion of heavy metal and hip hop is the greatest thing ever!

You know, Chester was asked to leave Mike and they would sign him alone in the beginning and he refused. He knew it was their chemistry that was the real magic and he held out for the industry to see it.

Man, I miss Chester ❤

Nobody's Listening is one of those great rap ones by them that never got airplay...i always loved it!

“Here we go for the hundredth time” was actually a line Mike said because they had written and written so many openings to Bleed It Out and nothing seemed to stick. Heck the entire Minutes To Midnight album had many many rewrites.

I think you would like their song Wretches and Kings.

The lyrics for most of the track are Mike’s frustration at rewriting the lyrics so many times. “Here we go for the 100th time” “half the words don’t mean a thing and I know that I won’t be satisfied”

Mike is soooo underrated only because he stood next to chester who was a once in a century talent but mike is phenomenal his experimental solo rap band fort minor is so fire they have a top 5 song of all time for me remember the name

Fun Fact: this song is about writing THIS song aha. It’s working title was unofficially “re-fucking-write” because they had to rewrite the lyrics so many times.

If you want 2 great Mike Shinoda Linkin Park rap songs check out "When They Come For Me" where he talks about trying to get respect for his craft and mentions Biggie and Chuck D in the second verse. Another one is "Wastelands".

Mike can rap extremely well. Check out High Voltage, Step Up and Dedicated. Plus he has plenty of songs without Linkin Park

One of my favorites of Linkin Park it always surprises me how little people who know LP dont know it

For the past couple years when I hear this song I can't help but think how much Mike sounds like Knox Hill on this track. 😄
Two of my favorite mike tracks are "Lost in the Echo" which had radio play and "When They Come for Me" which didn't.

Please, listen to [Linkin Park] - "Step Up/Nobody's Listening/It's Going Down (Live @ Rock Am Ring 2004). It's their earlier Hip-Hop-Medley or When They Come For Me (Live @ iTunes Festival 2011), Mike goes nuts there.

Mikes daughter doesnt even know hes a famous musician. She was practicing flute or some shit and he gave her some advice on notes and chords...he then overheard her talking to his wife like "wtf does dad know about music, just make chicken nuggies old man"

😂😂😂

You have to listen Linkin park waiting for the end.

What can’t Mike do! The entire band is full of talent!the stars aligned when they got together!

LINKIN PARK - "Guilty All The Same"
