I had a Thomas the Tank Engine toy when I was little... I literally DROWNED IT IN THE TOILET because he wouldn't stop saying "I'm off the track" whenever I took him off of the track. ._. Thomas... why... I was a murderer... I was so young...
Thomas was my childhood, but the new Thomas the Tank Engine has moving mouths, which honestly, is a lot creepier. If I was given an option to watch the old or newer episodes, I'd go with the old ones.
I'm all for dissing this movie! But no-one can diss the Classic Thomas the Tank Engine TV Series. It's still holds up today! And I'm referring to the stop-motion model series. Not the CGI Crap!
The point of the faces not moving was due to the fact that in the show, it was mostly narrated, as if it were a book. The narrator would say: Thomas was happy, and the train would have a happy face. Yes, I loved this show as a kid, but thought this movie was strange.
Little known fact, did you know there was a director's cut version of this film? Look up an episode of it on forgotten media on YouTube. Also thumbs up if you want Nostalgia Critic to review the Barney Movie (by god that movie is bloody awful).
for the record, sugar would seriously damage an internal combustion engine, so it makes sense that diesel would want to keep away from someone threatening him with a bag of it
Hang on a second, in a world where every train has a face and talks, wouldn't Lady be super creepy? At least to the other trains? I mean, imagine if you were just sitting with your friends, and a faceless someone you've never seen before just walks by! What would you think?
You love me...
Some shit's going down,
be ready for it!"
