[after Rockbiter sings "Born to Be Wild"] "Okay, let me make one thing perfectly clear, this is NOT jumping the shark. I'm gonna repeat that again, this is NOT jumping the shark. No, no, no.
[Inhales deeply]
Nostalgia Critic: This is jumping the shark, coming back, shooting it in the balls, raping it, eating its flesh, consuming its soul, mounting its head on the wall... and then doing the SAME THING TO 12 MORE FUCKING SHARKS JUST TO BE SAFE!"
Oh god, I made my father take me to the cinema on this one when I was a kid. THE CINEMA, where you pay money for... this? And he did, without bitching about it.
The timescale of this movie is confusing as hell. So in a matter of a few days, it's the start of the school year, Chinese New Year and Halloween, in that order?
As an Avatar fan I can't believe I'm saying this (but after the cockstorm my eyes just saw) but this movie makes me long for the elegance of the Last Airbender movie.
If you've read the novel, how does it stack up against the original film? Obviously the 2nd and 3rd are inferior, but even the author of the novel felt the 1st changed too much from the story....so I'd like to know which people think is best: Book vs First Film.
Prime example of how nostalgia critic episodes SHOULD be. No bullshit, just him in front of the camera ripping a movie apart then a short skit at the end of him reacting to how the movie makes him feel and drives him to destroy it in a funny over the top way. No pointless 10 minute intros with unfunny comic relief black guys trying to sound sinister with stupid voices or ugly fat chicks trying to be quirky with awful acting and shitty comedy. Just the nostalgia critic, the movie, no bullshit, no pointless shit. I wish he would realise that those dead weights are the reason he gets dislikes and losses views... all his fans want this style of reviewing back. Just do it already
