Just seeing this now, I'm the 2nd guy. Jumped into this comp after 7 weeks of training, it's funny looking back now, genuinely had no clue what I was doing. Thanks again for the roll

Bruh got himself gold with incredible guard passing and takedowns. Dayum dude

Honestly as someone who has never participated in BJJ just by watching your video alone has inspired me to take on the sport.

As a former wrestler looking into BJJ the ending note you made really struck. The moment I stopped being fearful I received 2nd place in a wrestling tournament and beat someone who was 12-0.

I love your coach's reaction to the other side saying "Fuck him up". He's a real one

Coming back to this video 6 months later and this is still the best BJJ white belt vid on YouTube! Keep up the good content G!

Insane!! That last match was intense, had me on the edge of my seat. Congrats on the W mate 🥇

That first and last match is insane. Yall are some good fucking white belts holy shit

Awesome ! Respect to you brother, been going at it for almost a year and lost my two first tournaments. But there ain’t no stopping me God willing !

Really appreciate seeing these first-match videos. Having sparred for 30-40 mins it’s impressive you’re still explosive 3-4 matches in. I just started trying this in my 40s. My endurance isn’t great and I’m still very intimidated but I’ll keep showing up!

Learning is the most important outcome of the tournament. White belts need to learn, and this is a great way to develop skills quickly. I am sure he will work on his ability to take the back when the oppurtunity presents itself in the future.

The push at 13:29 was brilliant

great point retention, not letting him settle into mount and going to your knees is great

I just started BJJ  a few months back and it's quickly become my obsession. Thank you for this video bc I want to compete eventually and this video just confirmed my desire and goal. Thanks brother! Keep training!

Yoo blue gi’s little hop has me dying 13:27 😂😂😂😂

Solid solid performance especially for 2 months training in gi.

damn, what a performance dude, I'm thinking to compete (my first competition) and you inspire me to train harder. Congratulations mate🤝🥋

I don’t believe you’ve only been training in BJJ a few weeks. This is crazy!

Great performance! I’m new to jujitsu and look forward to my first tournament. Very motivating young man.

Good shit man!! Competing is another level and not stressing about the outcome is the best way to do well! Awesome video btw
