22:39 Ah yes my favorite Bananza collectible Power Moons

Bro. How could you not talk about playing in the Mushroom Kingdom in Odyssey’s post-game? That was the best part of the post-game to me.

Talking down on the Odyssey stickers without realizing that you're literally a tourist buying tacky bumper stickers. The whole point is what you're complaining about lmao.

3:22 I think DKs moveset is more expansive than it's being given credit. He didn't have a long jump but you can jump with a terrain while riding grab it swing it hop back on and jump off terrain then spin which really helps getting further.

Bananza is one of the best Nintendo games I have ever played. Odyssey is an amazing game in a series with fierce competition, but it doesn't give me the same intoxicating monkey brain feeling of exploration and destruction.

This makes the “Odyssey vs Bowser’s Fury” vid from a few years ago looks hilarious

I found the bananza transformations to resemble more like Champion abilities in BOTW and TOTK

23:10 would'nt agree honestly, a lot of the game's platforming feels haphazardly thrown together

18:06 I dunno, I really think Mother 3’s final boss is quite hard to top :P One of those games that’s worth playing just to experience the ending. Not to knock DK’s though, because they really did do an amazing job

This channel is awesome idk why its so underrated

For those who think there won't be a 3d mario cause of bananza, there has been a 3d mario on every Nintendo console that can do full 3d!

The metal boxes in each Mario Odyssey level open at post game and dump so many more moons!

A little correction: the purple coins let you buy stickers and SOUVENIRS for the Odyssey. You get costumes via coins.

And costumes can serve a little purpose, because there are certain doors you can only access with a certain costume. Not much past that and certainly not as important as they are in Bananza, but some do have their little purpose

For me nowadays I’m not really looking to visit Mario odyssey again for awhile unless I want to casually speedrun it because it’s a great game for it. Dk bananza has only cemented my particular indifference and in some cases dislike for the moon system I don’t know if it’s because galaxy was my og and I just naturally gravitate to more linear level designs or what but dk just having an incentive for it makes me want 100% more so I can unlock more skills and dk bananza is also a really fun casual speedrun game so for me personally dk has the full package gameplay wise. (To clarify I don’t think Mario odyssey is a bad game, the moon system is just not for me and just doesn’t really make me want to play it beyond casually speedrunning)

W video once again Nathaniel!

This guestion is like asking if you like air or oxygen more, there is no definitive answer. And that shows how solid both of those games are

This makes me realise how much I want a game like Odyssey, but with classic Mario power ups this time. Just Imagine putting on the Flying Squirrel suit and flying through Metro Kingdom, using the Cat suit to climb up buildings. Or going toe to toe with Bowser using the Elephant power up. In a 3D enviroment. Yeah. That’d be my jam.

To me DK Bananza was the midway point between 3DMario & 3DZelda

19:50 void Kong did give me a run for my money. That second phase was rough for no reason.
