this isn't mario odyssey hide and seek, task master, balloon world, or any of the kind. this is a sort of documentary over boss fights.

i'm inspired by smallant, fir, cjya, moarf23 and them to make these kinds of videos. if you like my content, go check them out!

i genuinely didnt play the sand kingdom hand guy boss my first play. I didnt even know it existed

oops! i overlooked that to unlock the painting for metro in sand, you have to beat harriet. both harriet and the mech can be skipped, but not in one playthrough lol :)

Good on ya for mentioning the OG Madame Broode skip with 2P Cappy trick, everyone has pretty much forgotten that specific version of the trick existed

Skipping Topper at the start of the run is slightly more interesting than just being impossible because the wire doesn't appear. It turns out there is a loading zone to Cascade Kingdom where the end of the wire would be and that the loading zone exists even before beating Topper. The loading zone is way too far away to reach though and even if you could, if you don't take the wire your story progression doesn't update and the Odyssey doesn't appear in Cascade, softlocking you.

Madme Broode: “We meet again.”
Mario Mario: “Who are you?”
Nevermind. Mario Mario: “Who even is Madame Broode?”

9:21 but you have to beat Harriet in order to get the sand painting to get to Metro and skip the Mecha wiggler.

The dark side section really caught me off guard wasn't expecting ANY of them to be possible to skip. amazing video keep up the good work.

4:05 as smant found out, leaving the kingdom without killing madam broode locks you out of the moon permanentlyz

@pannenkoeksus 8 months ago

6:53 you need to beat a boss fight to access this painting, so you can't do this in 1 run

Gotta say, that's the clearest explanation of CRC I've seen yet!

I think we also have to acknowledge how hard it is to get enough moons skiping the bosses in luncheon kingdom because most of the lava bubbles do NOT spawn until you have beated Spewart making it almost impossible to get to most of the map.

You forgot the 2d donkey kong in darker side (although that's easily skipped with glydon)

16:35 there’s probably a minimum angle difference that determines whether Mario can wall jump to prevent him from climbing a single wall. Maybe these two sections just barely exceed that.

There was a ultrakill slam sound effect mp3 at the start of the video . Peak

16:40 the mooncave skip is possible because the walls on the mooncave hill are counted like 2 seperate walls so if you do a wj and get to the other wall you can walljump again would it be the same wall physics you wouldnt be able to perform another wj :D
