Being able to play Mario Wii on the go would be a dream come true

"New Super Mario All-Stars"

I know everyone beats the dead horse on the NSMB series but they’re legitimately good games at the end of the day. If you binge all of them, you’d certainly be fatigued by the amount of similarities and vanilla art style, but when you’re in the mood for a straight forward, no-frills 2D platformer, these games all do a great job of scratching that itch.

6:23 Actually Mario and Luigi both play the same in NSMB DS, I’m pretty sure what you’re referring to is the challenge mode which can be accessed with button inputs on the map screen after beating the game once

6:20 CORRECTION: The Challenge Mode in NSMB DS is not tied to Luigi, but is tied by inputting a specific button code combination on the pause menu in the world map.

What I would think Nintendo would do.
NSMBDS - Upscaled emulation
NSMBW - Upscaled native port that change controls to support Joy Con 2 or just emulated (somewhat likely)
NSMB2 - Upscaled native port that makes it widescreen and optimized for 1 screen

I REALLY WANT THIS TO BE REAL!

2:46  You could keep the lives but do it like Wonder?

I'm really craving some New Soup right now

I want this to be real so bad. I will 100% ALL of these games again no matter how good or bad the collection is

The main thing I’d want from this potential rumor would be to play NSMB2’s co-op online. Also the NSMB minigames online would be nice too!

This could actually happen because of Mario’s 40th Anniversary but I don’t want that to be the main attraction of it, if it was like a side thing like Mario Bros 35 then that’s fine

It’d be so underwhelming going back to any of the NSMB games after Wonder. I’d still play them though.

5:03 Correction: We’ve seen HAL LABORATORY do this before. 2 separate companies

The new new super mario bros collection

based on 3D All-Stars they will not be doing any of this lol they'll just port the games directly and that's it

This would be so cool 😭

Instead of lives, I'd prefer if they removed the level timers. It sucks to be exploring a level at your own pace until suddenly you hear the hurry up jingle and have to run to the end because the game decided you're taking too long

Impossible Pack has to be either nerfed, flag poles or pay coin for a check point.

Add Propellor/Penguin suit for NSMB 1 & 2 and same for Blue shell in NSMBW to make it fair and every NSMB item in battle mode for extra fun.

New sup collection needs to happen!
