Alpha legion have the most interesting kitbash potential. I love when people cut minis in half and make Alpha legioners mid transformation, it looks epic.

IRON WARRIORS NEXT!

Thankyou for respecting content creator dibs 😂 - always keen to see any and all takes on the Alpha Legion, I love the idea of them having a hand in developing imperial gear. My Task force Cetus would be all over that

The Alpha Legion in the Horus Heresy card game is really cool. You essentially give cards to your opponent's deck and when they draw one of your cards, it really hurts them in various ways. Like a little insurrection in their hand.

TableTopTime mentioned 9:11 ! Up the green and yellow

YES! Alpha Legion :)

Hydra dominatus!

Love how frequent your videos are. Make my morning commutes much nicer.  Keep it up EoB team!

You know what I love about this? It was a really simple paint job.

Blood angels: for the imperium!
Ultramarines: for the imperium!
Dark angels: for the imperium!
Black Templars: for the imperium!
Imperial fists: for the imperium!
Sons of Horus: for chaos!
Iron warriors: for chaos?
World eaters: for khorne!
Thousand sons: for tzeentch!
Emperor’s children: for Slaanesh!
Death guard: for nurgle!
Alpha legions: confused screaming

Fun fact! In 30k the Alpha Legion has a uniqur* special character called Exodus WHO is a super-sniper.

*does not have 0-1 restriction, so can Field multiples true Alpha style😅

That initial silver teal mix was the PERFECT oldsmobile engine blue. If you ever paint something with an exposed engine, please use that silver teal.

For my Alpha Legion army, I actually do the painting reverse from you; I paint the whole mini silver, then do all the necessary shading and highlighting in silver, and use contrast paint to tint the armour plates blue/green. :)

YES MORE ALPHA

The best way to get into the headspace of the Alpha Legion is by watching any scene of Elim Garak from Star Trek: Deep Space 9. In addition to simply being an entertaining and likable character, courtesy of Andrew Robinson's superb performance, Garak is also a perfect example of the Alpha Legion mindset, best summed up with his exchange with Dr. Bashir. "My dear doctor, they're all true." "Even the lies?" "Especially the lies."
There's some rumours that the Alpha Legion are engaged in an internal civil war, with both Chaos Space Marines and Loyalists, each posing as the other.
One of the cool things about the Alpha Legion is that they canonically change their colour scheme to whatever they didn't use the last time they were fighting or operating somewhere, giving a lot of freedom in how they can be painted. Though I was kinda hoping you would give them that scaled texture.

Blood Ravens - Unknown Founding - Mostly just a DoW ask.
Celestial Lions - 23rd Founding - A chapter of Imperial Fists descent, who had the gall--the gall!--to question an inquisitor for being excessively brutal and mass-murdery. So now they're basically on that Inquisitor's shit-list, and have been getting systematically eradicated by him for their moral integrity.
Deathwatch - Ordo Xenos - You can basically use whatever chapter you want with this one. And who knows, maybe you could find a way to enjoy painting them, similar to how you did with the Genestealers.
Exorcists - 13th Founding - A chapter specialized for fighting daemons. Yes, like the Grey Knights. No, they aren't Grey Knights, they're actually older than Grey Knights IRL. They are maybe a little more practical, though the lore would never acknowledge it. Certainly, there's infinitely less collateral damage when dealing with Exorcists.
Grey Knights - Ordo Malleus - Can you do this without any of the special parts? Or will you cave?
Iron Snakes - 2nd Founding - Out of all art of space marines, one of my favourite will always be that one Marine with the respirator with a grill like that of a snarling beast, and the giant, thick, slab-like pauldrons. It's such an evocative image.
Mantis Warriors - Possible 8th Founding - The Mantis Warriors fought during the Badab War on the side of the Astral Claws, but eventually defected to the side of the Loyalists. However, because of their initial allegiance to the Astral Claws during the war, they've lost their homeworld which was given to the Charcharodons, and went on a penitent crusade. They are at incredibly low numbers by this point.
Minotaurs - 21st (Cursed) Founding - The unofficial attack dogs of the High Lords of Terra. You can go as OP with the model as you want.
Rainbow Warriors - Unknown Founding - In the official lore, there's next to no information about them (though they do have rainbow-coloured plasma weapons according to a Trazyn novel), but there is someone who decided to do their own version of the Rainbow Warriors as an Aztec-themed chapter. Good luck on the fine rainbow stripes.
Sons of the Phoenix - Ultima Founding - Officially, a chapter of Imperial Fists descent very similar to the Black Templars, but many within the community suspect that they could very well be of Emperor's Children gene-seed without realizing it. There's also this webcomic fan series about that very premise, with Clonegrim returning from Trazyn's collection and leading them, so that's cool. They also have a very good looking asymmetric paint scheme.
Storm Giants - Unknown Founding (possibly during the 36th Millennium, so between 15th through 21st foundings, maybe older) - These Salamanders successors are described as being even larger and stronger than the marines of other chapters. I wanna see how you can do with kitbashing the size of your marines.
Storm Wardens - Unknown Founding - Mostly because I love the idea of Scottish Space Marines.

Iron Warriors - M31 - The use of lots of cybernetics, basic raw-iron armour, hazard stripes, and their no-nonsense design philosophy. They hate Chaos, actually, and they'll lop off anything that gets mutated and insist on only using machinery and technology, though they're more than happy to use a daemon as a battery. They also don't like working with any other legions. Rivals of the Imperial Fists due to some preexisting bad-blood between their respective primarchs.
Thousand Sons - M30 - The cobalt-blue Egyptian psyker legion with heavy amounts of gold trim and yellow colours. When painted up, these guys are straight dripping. Rivals of the Space Wolves after what they'd done on Prospero.
World Eaters - M31 - The most vicious and brutal of the Chaos legions, the World Eaters are all in on chain weapons and melee. They don't really have any specific rivalries with anyone, as they just fight and attack everyone, even each other.

11:22 Don't imprison Vulkan again! He suffered enough!

i believe the theories that they are still loyal and fighting from the shadows and being the double agents and plotting the downfall of chaos from within it, Also need to make a Legion of the Damned space marine maybe even Ferrus Manus just a thought

I would love to see you do a whole alpha legion army, they look gorgeous

This is my favorite chapter!

I'm pretty sure that guy is Alpharius
